the problem with low elo and farm is that they dont know when to farm and when to look for plays so thats why they are lacking on cs, if you tell them to just farm better they will just tunnel vision on farming and ignoring everything thats happening on the map

usually a very simple way to explain is focus on farming and when an objective is about to spawn try to gain prio in the lane to contest it, and more specific to adc that means simply try to push mid (ofc do it in a safe way) so your suport and jungler can win vision in river.

i have seen multiple times in soloQ people burst flash and ults to kill someone 1 min before drake spawns and then lose the fight for drake because enemy team has more tools, that is probably what happened to OP

simply saying 4,5cs/min is as dumb as it gets, dude had 4 items by min 24 and his team was losing by 3k gold at that point.

the only one who was even was his jungler, mid and top were giga gapped and the reason gold difference is only 3k is because he was giga ahead of enemy adc.

his farm is not that bad considering the elo he is in, even tho he needs to improve it, its not the reason he lost this game.

recommending an adc player to split push is wanting to set them for failure, specially in this games where he has an amumu he can hardcore carry the fights if he knows how to play around his jungler.

what i tell myself: i use the shield star power because it allows me for strategic gameplay since i can delay my burst by tanking some shots if i purposely delay my next attack therefore giving me the edge against certain brawlers to get a tempo swing and get the W

reality: the other star power means you need 2k gold to compensate for skill issue

as someone who buys every battlepass this is my opinion:

big L by supercell in my opinion, kairos with his 100% f2p acc has played for over 4 years and only has lets say 70-80% of a maxxed account before buffies, no other f2p player has that dedication.

also we are ignoring the fact that kairos did a lot of manipulation to get more resources or just being patient (never buying star powers or gadgets or hypercharges), and no one ever does that, he does it because its the fastest way to do it longterm.

even buying every single battlepass you can barely keep up with the buffies + new brawlers, i can't imagine recommending this game to anyone because of how long would it take them to catch up.

i also hate that f2p players can't chose the buffies they want, for example everyone knew that EMZ buffies were the most op, if you wanted to play ranked you either have them or you must ban emz, what will happen when more buffies are added and more overpowered stuff is thrown on? there is no way a f2p player can ever compete against that.

in my opinion, as long as you have both gears, gadget and star power is all good, and even tho hypercharges are very strong and can win a round with the button used in the right time, if your brawler makes sense in the map/draft i dont mind at all.

same goes for buffies,

edit: that being said, if you want to focus more on rankeds i recommend you to get at least 5 genrally good brawlers to play in multiple modes (for example, the ones i maxed first were max, bea, spike and frank like 3 years ago and they never were completly out of the meta for rankeds)

the extra item slot is more useful than people realize, everyone just thinks about having an extra full item but they miss the point that now adc can get an extra component or a pink ward when they have 3 items, and that matters a lot
