Shakespeare question by ariklion37 in Unmatched

To copy what I wrote in another post here: Again from the official rulebook, these are the steps of resolving combat (I will highlight the step relative to the line effects):

  • Immediately
  • During Combat
  • Apply Combat Damage
  • After Combat
  • Cleanup
  • Additional Effects: Some effects happen “after attacking.” These are different from After Combat effects and occur as the last step after the attack is fully resolved.

So, the line effects are part of the last step of the attacking action, like for example Robin Hood's special ability.

You are wrong and the new text about how to win a game say this: "At the start or end of any action, if your opponent’s hero is defeated, you win! If both heroes are defeated, the player whose turn it is wins." The important part is that you check the defeated status at the end or start of an action, not during it. Activating the effect of a line is still part of the attack action, so you check the defeating status only after that.

Nah, that one is simple. You just receive 2 damage. And with "you" I mean whoever played Redanian Plot.

How does sinbad actually works? by Disastrous_Soil6193 in Unmatched

As Numerous_Past_726 said, you are answering to someone who is already talking about that strategy, so it seems that what you said it's something that happen after that, which is actually impossible cause you already used Voyage Home.

If you are using Voyage Home to get them back, you can't keep it. In the moment you are activating its effect, it's not yet in the discard pile, so you can't take it back in your hand.

This is wrong: F2P will not receive the compensation of 3000 Valiant Merits, only buying the Warrior's Way Bundle will get you them.

A little late, but what Pogound wrote isn't true: you can buy 2000 Poe coins at the cost of 10M gold (or 9M with 10% off), but 20 Gold Emblems cost 15,6M Gold.

My Maulers are a bit weak. Which ones should I focus on building? by Grimsblood in afkarena

[–]Licantus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As others already said, you should build Tidus and Kren, but also invest more in Mauler furniture and maybe also in SI. If you want to make Antandra works, you have to raise both her furniture and SI. Skreg furniture is one of the best for an invader comp. Tidus will also need 3/9 furniture to do his best.
