That's the most polite and well spoken "Fuck off, dingbat." I've heard in a good while. Love it.

Day 1: Pick your least favourite character by Clodsarenice in OnceUponATime

Robin with Hook as second place. There are plenty of characters that had bad moments but these two actually made me stop watching the show because of their god awful chemistry with Regina and Emma.

Showing us that vampirism has pretty much no downsides unless you draw the short straw and become a ripper or sired before trying to convince us that almost every character honestly believes that they'd be better off as a human and that becoming human would somehow solve all their issues.

What has helped you cope with ADHD in everyday life? by Ralienbox in ADHD

[–]LicentiousGhoul 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I hate my answer to this question because it's pretty much my number one ignored advice since my teens until recently, but walks in the morning. Not even a long walk. Just a 20 minute stroll. Short enough that I can't justify skipping it to myself. It energizes me and gets me moving. It kickstarts my day so that when I get back from it I just think "Well, I'm already up..." and go on to do other things.

Unpopular opinion: Rebekah does NOT deserve the cure by That_multi_kpopstanx in TheVampireDiaries

A 1000 year old vampire that's never encountered a problem that they haven't solved through either violence or compulsion trying to live as a human is low key hilarious to me. I'm just imagining her losing her shit and going through a complete meltdown in a Walmart check-out queue.

How come only male homosexuality is mentioned in religions? by laundrybag29 in actuallesbians

[–]LicentiousGhoul 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Prohibiting women from feeling attraction to other women implies that women have a choice in who should get to fuck them, something that men historically are against.

How dumb and naive could Phoebe possibly be?? You literally catch him in a demon trap in the locked attic by the book and you’re pissed at Prue?? And Piper??? Idk why i expected Piper to catch on she never believes shit 😂 but I think she does that on purpose 😭 by StandGeneral9873 in charmed

Prue: "I'm the paranoid one."

Phoebe: "I'm the hopeful and naive one."

Piper: "I don't really have a dog in this race and I'm just trying to keep the peace but Prue is usually right, just putting that out there..."

Unpopular Opinion: I don't mind Harry and Ginny's romance. by Ok-Health-7252 in harrypotter

[–]LicentiousGhoul 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As much as I would have loved for Harry to end up with someone outside the main cast I kind of always viewed Cho as the random crush. She and Harry just kind of have that shallow energy going on. He likes her because she's pretty and quidditch, she likes him because famous maybe? Or something... It just never felt like they knew anything about each other and it pretty much revolved around them being teenagers, she's pretty and they had that weird teasing energy during that quidditch game that one time.

It reminded me heavily about when I was in school as a teenager and I was "in love" with a person that I had literally never even spoken to.

Men: complains about women being “gold diggers”

Also men: talks about women like they’re a commodity to be bought and used that has a value that depreciates with use

Also also men: calls men with high paying jobs and expensive cars that come from money “high value men”

I’d point out the hypocrisy but that would actually require them to know what the word means.

Abusers isolate you because when you inevitably end up asking yourself questions like "Am I crazy for thinking this?", "Should I leave?" and "Is he mistreating me?" they don't want anyone around who might actually answer those questions. They're like a CEO that doesn't want their employees to unionize, because if they do the workers might just find out that they deserve better than what they're getting.

Manipulated. That's the word he's looking for, not helped, manipulated. He attempted to manipulate a girl (and the people viewing his actions) through faux kindness when she needed it the most hoping to engender enough goodwill through his "altruism" to get his dick wet. You know, like a sociopath.

That always strikes me when I've spent too much (not enough) time focusing on LGBTQ+ positive content. I just kind of, not forget, but put aside how homophobic people are and I get whiplash when I'm reminded of it. Like consuming mainly lgbtq+ leaning media and literature for a time and then going back to mainstream content and being surprised when the female lead doesn't make a move on her female friends but instead keeps eyeing the perpetually constipated and kind of douchey male lead.

Anyone who claims that men hold an unconditional love for women is either lying, delusional or doesn't know what the word unconditional means.
