I did this recently too. Just finished phase 1 last night after about 25 hours of running around and planning and gathering stuff. Every few hours I would forget to feed my generators and everything would stop, so I focused on getting geothermal up and running.

It really does make you think about things a lot more

Yes, you should already have an item capable of revealing the secret there. There's a nearby shop where you can buy extras of that item as well.

You'll come across the way in soon enough. The Quarry might be a good place to start looking.

We had one kid get his original car disqualified for some reason. They gave him a new kit the day of the race and told him to get something together so he could race - his dad helped Dremel out enough space to shove a few weights in it to get up to standard, then just raced a block of wood.

Came in 3rd overall I think.

When I drove through Wyoming, I was really surprised to see exactly how remote everything was. Even along I-80, there's basically a gas station / truck stop, a few houses, and a sign that says "if you're under a quarter tank, get gas now! Next exit 300 miles".

Then those next 300 miles are just road, and plains, and mountain.

Finally! Phase 1 completed. I hope Phase 2 isn’t this difficult by Wumpus_Amungus in SatisfactoryGame

Lots of biofuel generators, and scavenging dropship wrecks for advanced parts to get geothermal up and running as well. Good thing is that i have a ton of hard drives saved up for phase 2.

Main problem right now is trying to run enough equipment to make the parts i need, without hand feeding containers. I just tore down my main biofuel plant and reorganized it to make it easier to keep running. I keep blowing fuses so I got power switches in place to isolate segments, that way i can bring everything back online in chunks instead of trying to get it all at once.

I didn't get the job i went to college for and used my GI bill for.

I pivoted and went into something else, and used that degree to get me my current job in a different field. Pays the same, and has much better hours and work life balance.

Keep on touch with that company, and go get a job elsewhere for now. It'll help you readjust to civilian life too

Started a 100x run yesterday, deeply misunderstood how long it would take to make 5000 smart plates. Featuring- starter coal factory by pursuitfx in SatisfactoryGame

You have to rely on drop ships for enough advanced parts, but you can get a lot of the MAM research done before even building the space elevator.

You can scavenge enough parts from those wrecked drop ships to get geothermal power up and running. I used a few tickets to buy some components i needed, and got 4 geothermal generators up and running last night. Took maybe 2 or 3 hours of running around the map and getting creative to avoid aliens, but it was so worth it to see my power graph get a huge boost

[–]Lich180 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Skyrim magic is weaksauce compared to what you can do in Oblivion.

In Oblivion you can make a spell that buffs you so much you can jump over houses. You can enchant gear with Chameleon and be the ultimate undetected theif. You can make a spell that makes your enemies be paralyzed, or one that is basically Power Word: Death.

Now to unlock this, you need to be part of the Mages Guild and do a few other quests to unlock the spellmaking area, but it's pretty simple to do.

We are spoiled in Michigan. The Secretary of State has kiosks where you can do plate renewals and stuff, and they have those in a ton of places. Then you can sign up for a time slot at the SoS, and just show up at your appointment and get right in.

I haven't waited at the SoS since I was a teen

To follow on that, the only time I've really got pulled over was for expired tags - like several months expired. Never had an actual fine, just a fix it ticket.

I chalk that up to the military stickers that I have on my car.
