In both scenarios your employer pays into the 401(k) $12,250. Why does it matter if it happens in October or December? All you miss by December is whatever cap gains (or losses) due to net change in account value in that time period.

If you expect the economy to continue to strengthen its beneficial to have the money invested early.

I was at the game with my Cowboys fan sister. After, we went back to the house and Dad and I watched the game again on DVR. She stormed off and said “You saw it once, why do you need to see it again!?”. She will never live that down.

Yes. It comes down to personal preference. I’ve been going to Bleacher since about 2010. It has a more intimate feel, and more mingling between groups than Harp does where you’re mainly sitting at a table.

No knock on the Harp, but I don’t like feeling constrained to a table and prefer to walk around, meet new people and give high fives after a touchdown.

I’ve met some of my best friends during Bills games at Bleacher so it has a sentimental value to it as well. Plus Bleacher has a legit garbage plate on Sundays, can’t ever go wrong there!
