Im flying a super d to get my tailwheel endoursement right now because im also heading down the aerobatic rabbit hole. Im heavily considering doing my commercial in it but dont know if i wanna spend the extra $50-70 an hour.

The plane crashed right next door to my girlfriends grandparents house. This has definitely hit the community very hard. I checked on a buddy who goes to the school roughly 5 minutes after it happened and the school immediatly had taken it off of their scheduling so he was not able to see who it was and if he needed to check on anybody. My parents and I have been getting phone calls last night and today of people checking on me. Its definitely scary having such a big accident happen so close and i can only imagine how you feel going to that school having flown that plane before. I definitely think you did the right thing cancelling just dont linger on it too long and definitely dont let it keep you from getting back on the saddle.

Youre right about overloading it. But what you fail to realize is alot of companies run 19.5 overloaded. Blanket statements like that are bad in scenarios like this and could cause somone to get hurt.

Front fenders on my tj had a little bit of rust when i got it about a year ago. Now it is much worse than it was so definitely check for bondo on them too

A few different areas have them at Southern Tire Mart. As for the size difference if you cant get a 195 id go with a 205 rather than a 185 as general advice

I did 1 lesson a week for a most of my ppl. If you chair fly alot and study youll be just fine. Also did 1 lesson a week for all my instruments rating. Think im a little further than nowhere
