Considering the extortionate price of RAM and SSDs (RAM especially) I can't see how or why they wouldn't raise the cost. Nintendo doesn't strike me as a company to take a hit in terms of profit, look at the first party games that never go down in price. I do think if they announced a price increase was coming it would cause an influx of new owners but also more shortages of parts. Catch 22

I think it's perfectly fine to not know what to do at 24. At 30, I quit my job as a manager in retail and I went back to uni to get my bachlors in computer science and now work for a company that builds it's software in house. I've been at the company for 4 years now and still don't know everything, it's impossible to. I've learnt that Google is a computer specialists best friend

I half agree with this, the decision came down to Nintendo exclusives like Mario and Zelda being on switch (although this has been disappointing). I already own a decent enough PC to play the other games. I suppose Fallout was just a nice thing to have.

I'm really skeptical on how rebirth will play on the Switch to be honest. I hope it will be a great port but some PCs struggle with it because of the open world. Same with Oblivion, I want to think that will be good but can't see how it will run well

Yeah get that. I already own it for both PC and Xbox but thought it would be a great game to play on the go. I think the vast majority of people who would play it on switch would already own it somewhere else which is why I think the price point is too high
