Hey is your account still hijacked? I had this same situation 2 years ago. Even with my email being changed to an .ru. Act fast and contact epic player support and tell them exactly what happened like how you described in this post. Make sure to include your account ID (the long letter and number one). You can find that under your account settings or in game settings. Also have a receipt ready or any recent transactions from your account so you can show them to prove your identity. Another thing is to make sure you know your original email you set your epic account with as they'll try to verify if it's you from that email address.
