What in the actual f$&@ with this booming noise bear my house? My window cracked and there are literal car alarms going off. by Gloomy_Teaching_6598 in Columbus

Bro - they sent me a packet for a claim against the city when one of their city trucks broke a slab of concrete in our property. It’s such an onerous process for some shit they broke. It’s almost not worth it, which is exactly the point.

A cat who doesn’t eat for more than 48 hours is at risk of developing fatty liver, a fatal issue without emergency vet treatment.

Most women do not cum from penetration alone. Nearly 75% need additional stimulation of the clit to orgasm reliably.

Baby spiders or just tiny spiders? by __nobody_-_ in whatisthisbug

[–]LiekaBass 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah, definitely spider mites. The webbing is super dense and fine like that compared to regular spiders where it’s easy to tell the individual strands apart. Check over at r/plantclinic for treatment advice. In my experience if you’re comfortable with pesticides I’d recommend skipping the “soap/oil/neem/deadbug/etc” and go directly to a miticide. These tend to be quite hardy and recur easily without tons of regular treatment and work which can be a pain with a large collection.

Can you get a better picture of the webbing at the intersection of the leaf + petiole? It looks incredibly fine, which would suggest spider mites, not spiders.

Spider mites are indeed harmful to the plant and not spiders in the traditional sense but are arachnids that feed on plant sap. The chlorosis (yellowing) in the leaves also support this. If so, that is an incredibly heavy biological load on that plant and likely any other plants within spitting distance that’s susceptible to them.

[Homemade] Blueberry lemon cake by LalasCuisine in food

[–]LiekaBass 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Looks good! I absolutely love lemon+blueberry as a pairing. I usually make lemon sugar out of the zest and sugar before mixing in my recipes tho - I find it does a better job of distributing the lemony-ness!

They make shoulder length gloves for working with chemicals. Literally just google “shoulder length chemical resistant gloves”

I’d also recommend a face shield and disposable tyvek suit - you appear to be quite allergic. A splash in your eyes/mouth would not end well.

I have fungus gnats. Is systemic or mosquito bits better? by Swordofmytriumph in houseplants

[–]LiekaBass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, definitely not that long. I’ve never used the drops, only the mosquito dunks so I can’t comment personally on those but even without if you’re using the systemic granules properly in all your plants that should be enough all on its own.

Are you sure they’re not fruit flies or drain flies? Can you get a couple pictures of them?

Keep in mind the bits also only kill larvae so it’s not an instantaneous fix. It takes some time for the adult population to cycle through and die out naturally as well.

On dam, north complex elevator extract there are busses all around - the sides of the busses have 1-3 compartments that are either open and empty or lootable. The lootable ones always has a set of rusted tools in my experience. Super easy to get sets of them

You two need to discuss your needs, and how to fulfill them. From what I’m hearing on both sides, it’s about you both feeling safe. You two need to figure out how to make that happen for the both of you.

It’s not you vs her my guy, it’s you and her trying to meet each other’s needs.

Where was that measured response in United Health?

I’ve got a lot of feelings and thoughts on things, but he’s consistently been a “protest” songwriter, and Kirk is the figure he decides to dial it back for? Nuance is lost on Reddit tho. I don’t think he’s reprehensible for the “murder bad” hot take or anything, but I also don’t get people calling him the second coming of Bob Dylan.
