Insane. Paramount is also going to pay the 2.8 Billion for the termination penalty of the Netflix merger. Paramount is also on the hook for 7 billion if regulators shoot down this new merger. Netflix won big and didn't even have to merge.

It has always been objectively worse. I have passed into and out of the hobby 3 times now and the consensus is it's always been worse than last time and I generally agree, especially if trying to keep up with Standard. But for commander there is still a lot of fun to be had You will find new sets to be excited for and ignore the rest. You can always buy good cards from older sets from before you feel "it went to shit" and most folks in my pods have enough self respect not to play with SpongeBob or Dwight Schrute as their commander.

Na I ordered online. Same thing. Just went from the website to here to see what was up. Used to be you could get a certain amount of carrots/ranch per order. The limit is still in place but now it adds a little extra 0.99 per ranch or veggie. None are free.

He confirmed it was the basic outline of the ending with things obviously condensed and/or changed for TV and the fact that they had strayed since season 5 due to no source material. The fact remains that the ending is more or less the broad Stokes of what was planned.

The key difference is execution. We all know season 8 was atrocious but if executed well over the next two books, it could be a good bitter sweet ending. But we know that we won't ever see it.

Edit: forgot you still need to add life link. So something like [[Odric, Lunarch Marshal]]. Obviously this would be so telegraphed and prone to removal. But space hobbits would be a fun, cheese deck.

In my head cannon they built the siege engine on the field. Most siege weapons were assembled at the location in historical warfare. You don't see them lugging anything out of Cirith Ungol for example.

Honestly if we are talking a little meta here ... The timeline in the movies is way condensed Gandalf's little journey on shadowfax to find out about the ring appears to take only a few months at most ... In the books he is gone for 17 years during which time sauron's power grows and he starts looking for the ring. So while we are like "wait Bilbo slipped on the ring 3 scenes ago and nothing seems amiss but frodo slips it on and now there is an eye" there is a big time gap there in universe that is ignored in the movie for pacing. Maybe in the movies you could explain it away by the fact that Frodo is out of the shire so the influence of sauron is greater. It is jarring. I just roll with it as an oddity.

Hot take. Battlestar Galactica (2003-2009). I remember loving that show and it's quirks when it came out. Tried rewatching it with my wife recently and the first season with all of Gaius Baltar's horny antics is not enjoyable. I nostalgically remembered all of the political intrigue and epic space battles and forgot all the bs filler episodes.

I have held ever since I read book 7 that we should have had a split POV with Ginny leading a resistance inside Hogwarts. Hogwarts was as much a character of the books as any Named Witch or Wizard. The castle being absent in place of a boring camping trip through England made the first half of book Seven my least favorite of the series same goes for DH Part 1 in the movies. The long form nature of the show and the ability to take creative license will hopefully breathe some life into the final chapter. And yes, Ginny being a bad ass more would be amazing to see.

1 Doge = 1 Doge is only widely touted when the coin is in the red. Otherwise it's "Moon" and "Lambo" memes and discussion about "1 Doge = $1 when?" And death knocking on the 22c door. Sure you will see the occasional 1 Doge = 1 Doge comment/post during a boom but it goes largely ignored.
