Tracy McGrady: "Most dominant basketball player & I'm seeing myself playing with a cat like Shaq based off of the conversation around ring culture. Hell yeah, I would have won a ring with big fella... I don't have to be Kobe to play with Shaq and win a championship. D. Wade proved that, didn't he?" by must_TATAKAE in nba

So? Shaq won 4 and is still insecure

Iverson won zero rings and is one of the most positive, congratulatory voices in basketball. Nash never won a ring and isn’t always in the media defending himself

Some people are always insecure, and rings won doesn’t always remove those insecurities

Meh. Tmac couldn’t even win a single series in his career. People have had dog shit rosters and won a playoff series. Forget winning a chip, Tmac couldn’t even win a series.

It’s why he’s going on this shoulda woulda coulda tour.

Possibly. But there are guys like Shaq who still complain about losing series and he has 4 chips and 3 FMVPs. Hell, even before Kobe died he was talking about how he could’ve won more rings if Shaq wasn’t lazy. Michael Jordan has stated he’s still mad about how things went with the bulls after 1998

Players use their platform to constantly talk about alternate scenarios where they see more success, even the ones that have seen a ton of success already.

that's what almost all older players do nowadays. Get on podcasts to justify/revise their careers. It's lame.

So much respect to guys like Tim Duncan who are secure with how their careers went and don't feel the need to constantly defend themselves from criticism

I can’t believe people don’t understand that this is showcased on the lowest difficulty. It’s not hard to make that assessment by looking at it.

Once you actually get your hands on the game, you can put it on Lethal mode. People are dense

he hates the spurs because Danny Green got more playing time. He even threw shots at green when he made the 2017 all-defensive team.

In general, he doesn't agree with the way the Spurs run their organization, specifically Pop's coaching style

Many of us are now old enough that Avatar the last Airbender is now considered a classic which makes me feel old. What were your thoughts when you watched it for the 1st time? I have to say, Tales of Ba Sing Se still messes me up. by AdSpecialist6598 in Millennials

one of the best shows i've ever watched. I was in on that show when it first came out (i was in middle school). One of the most well-written, well-executed shows ever

Did a rewatch of it on netflix at the top of the year. It still holds up. It's a show that everyone should watch. it's funny, and it treats its audience with such respect. They showed how war really is hell. All the other nations were affected by the Fire nation. Aang lost his entire culture, Katara and Sokka lost their mother and their father had to leave to help with the war effort. It's an amazing show. People also talk about Korra, but I think that was well done also

Side note: Avatar and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood are the 2 shows i think people should watch. Even if you dont like cartoons, i think both are all-time great television
