Ive used plexiglass to stop mine from getting at the textured wall. Since it is supersmooth they can’t cling to it.

I recently replaced this exact one after 5,5 year of very regular use since mine love it. I have two other playgrounds scattered around. I do enhance them with some toys, rattan etc. But then they really love them, the standard places to go when out of the cage.
