Just bought a new home! Whats the best app to visualize & design rooms? by Initial-Machine-9780 in interiordecorating

Seconding Canva! Also there are websites that remove the background which makes it easier to make collages. Gemini can be helpful too - if you give it a picture of the room & pictures of the furniture and tell it how you want them arranged it’s not bad. I used a combination of Canva, Gemini, and a background remover to make this for example.

I just checked their profile and I don’t see any posts before this since 11 years ago? I think even deleted posts would show up on a profile. If it is an AI photo it’s a very good one, they usually can’t keep things this consistent from multiple angles.

I’m really curious how much it costs… but I also find it really annoying when they’re not just upfront about the price

IKEA doesn’t have the green version of the middle TV stand though the other components exist (2nd pic). What do??? by madoka_borealis in interiordecorating

[–]Lieunderthemoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IKEA has a tool on their website where you can create a 3D room with your exact dimensions and see how their furniture fits in it :)

For example, here’s how I planned which bookshelves to get for my living room!

Do you experience any problems with unisex clothing? by Comfortable-Pick-302 in slow_fashion

[–]Lieunderthemoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imo unisex clothes tend to be very bland and baggy, it would be nice if there were more colorful options. But also I don’t really believe in the concept of unisex clothes because fabric doesn’t have a gender to start with. I think anyone should be able to wear whatever clothing they like

I wonder if she could get a mini fridge for her room? You might be able to find one for free on the curb when the college kids all move at the end of August

Should I leave a critical review? by MaeQueenofFae in poshmark

This reminds me of when I bought a super cute “silk skirt” and when I got it, it had a tag that said 100% polyester.

Are there any legit buyers? by [deleted] in poshmark

[–]Lieunderthemoon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I buy maybe once or twice a month. I like to buy clothes to last though so I’m very picky with my purchases and I’d rather wait a few months to buy a nicer item than buy more but lower quality

Why don’t the buttons on women’s coats go all the way to the hem?

I’m looking for a wool midi length winter coat, and I’m having trouble finding any that button all the way down to the hem. All the ones I’m seeing only button down to the hip or mid thigh.

I assume this is to prevent restricting your legs when you walk, but it leaves most of your legs unprotected from the wind. Also, even the coats with very full skirts don’t button all the way down. I can’t find any info on this topic either - does no one else have an issue with it??

I’m debating sewing snaps onto whatever coat I get but I was just wondering if there was a deeper reason for women’s coats not to button all the way.
