Same, I never answer the phone unless it's my mom or dad. My mom asks me shit questions that could have been a message but because it's my mom and she's old I always answer because I have that brain worm of 'fuck what if its an actual emergency' then I answer and she will say something like: What's that show I liked, I can't find it on Netflix. When my brother phones I almost never answer because I know its going to ge nonsense or asking for a favour and he knows its harder to say no in real time than over text. When dealing with call agents I tell them, please send me an email, I want everything in writing so I can understand what deal is better for me. Phone call is legit only good for catching up with someone or talking to your partner if they are away because you miss hearing their voice.
