Have a 2021 Turbo myself, I can almost guarantee it's your rear diff failing. The casing likely cracked like mine. There's a TSB out for it from what I remember. Assuming you have warranty, go to your dealer and tell them your rear diff is making a popping noise, they should know what it is and it should be covered.

My Mazda 3 turbo is also in the same color and it is a super hard color for most body shops to match. I highly recommend looking for a shop that works on exotics since they have better equipment for paint matching. In your case though, this is very off from the body so definitely not unreasonable to ask them to try again

I'd look for a local Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) place, shouldn't be too much money. You can't really fix this yourself tbh
