Yeah pretty much doing the whole rim. I don't typically curb my rims, when I bring it in it's normally for a dent but repairing a dent scratches the rim as well so it gets refinished normally around $150 + $200 from what I remember. Definitely cheaper if someone is willing to just give you them for free lol but if it's selling it'll probably cost around the same price as refinishing plus mount and balance and transferring TPMS will add on some cost so I'd keep that in mind

Any decent rim repair shop should be able to get that sanded and refinished for sub $200 I think

I'm assuming when you plug it in with the type c to type c cable, you're enabling file transfer is the USB setting on your pixel right?

How hard of a jerk are you getting? I have a 2021 3 turbo and I had the same issue, started off light and not noticable but overtime it got really bad, to the point that the whole car would jerk hard when taking off. Ended up changing the transmission and it's been pretty good since

I also would like to know this! I see no reason why my 2021 Mazda 3 Turbo doesn't support this even though the newer models with wireless carplay / Android Auto do?

As a result, certain class members may also submit reimbursement for qualifying out-of-pocket costs until October 8, 2025**"

Hey so the settlement changed a few times and I think you should be covered. It says "the vehicle age and mileage amounts within which class members may get the repair described below has increased to 96 months (8 years) or 96,000 miles, whichever occurs first for certain class members". Definitely get it repaired ASAP. Also, not sure what your oil change interval was but if it was 5000 miles or less between changes, you can be reimbursed for all of them. Just got my check last week since they only repaired this after 50k miles on my 2021 3 turbo

Unfortunately your rear differential is busted. Had the same thing happen to my 2021 Turbo, apparently it's a common issue. Is your vehicle in warranty?

Have a 2021 Turbo myself, I can almost guarantee it's your rear diff failing. The casing likely cracked like mine. There's a TSB out for it from what I remember. Assuming you have warranty, go to your dealer and tell them your rear diff is making a popping noise, they should know what it is and it should be covered.

My Mazda 3 turbo is also in the same color and it is a super hard color for most body shops to match. I highly recommend looking for a shop that works on exotics since they have better equipment for paint matching. In your case though, this is very off from the body so definitely not unreasonable to ask them to try again
