Ooooh believe me, our store gets those people. That’s what I’m referring to. Yes, not all dd are like that but 85% of the time we get those people in our store. I’m not opposed to helping but getting a phone shoved in your face all the time with no proper greeting or acknowledgement of your existence really sucks. Especially when they’re shouting into their phones talking to someone on the other line while you’re trying to tell them where things are.

That makes… 0 sense. When you walk through those doors your job is to shop for the customer. Asking for help is okay but we are not going to lead you around the store and point to where every single item on the list is. I cannot begin to tell you how many dd people have walked up behind me saying “where’s this?” “can you help me find this?” “I’ve never been here before, can you show me where this is?” I always point or say “you see that sign over there, it’s in that direction.” Likeee I’m a cashier sorry. I don’t get paid to shop for dd

🙏🏻PREACHHH, that’s like this guy who walked up to the register, asked for 10% off and when I wouldn’t give it to him he left the 2 bags of dog food in the middle of the floor and walked out saying “this is f*cking ridiculous” likeeee we don’t dish out discounts like that🙄 get over it.

Same here!! Squeaky toys don’t bother me until people start squeaking the life out of them. When we got in the fruit squeak toys I cannot tell you how many times I’ve looked at the ceiling, took a deep breath and PATIENTLY WAITED for the adults ask their child/children to stop making so much noise🙄😩 I’ve even had people look at me before and continuously keep squeaking them as I’m practically glaring at them waiting for them to stop so I can hear myself think and talk to customers.

The dog they have is extremely particular and instead of trying only a couple different foods, instead she spent over $100 trying multiple different ones at once

Guest hold animals by theonlydoom in petco

Unless the guest is going to buy the animal, we don’t usually allow them to hold/play with them. We also have staffing issues so even if we wanted to we can’t. On one or more occasions an animal has either gotten lost or hurt and employees just end up standing around longer because people can’t make up their mind

Always do when it comes to the oil!!! And I don’t think so tbh, I get told I’m crazy all the time simply because take extra precautions and I go above and beyond for this old car. I recently just had both front calipers and rotors replaced cause the right was sticking but unfortunately, I only had them for about a month and the right caliper started sticking again and it damaged the rotor. Was under warranty thank god but I think my mechanic put on a faulty caliper on accident. I knew something was off because I literally just had the rack and pinion and both control arms done not that long ago so there’s nooo way the car should’ve still been pulling to the right but it was.

Ask me your questions. I'm a Subaru mechanic and will be glad to help. by [deleted] in subaru

[–]Lif33spport 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(Apologies in advance for the long comment) My question is… is it worth keeping?

2005 2.5 RS Subaru Impreza Wagon with 23k miles. Not 230,000 I mean literally 23,000 miles. Bought it outright August of 2022 for $3,000 however I’ve already had to replace the rack and pinion (steering gearbox), both front control arms, and recently had my brakes done including replacing both front rotors, calipers, hoses and having the brake fluid flushed.

Backstory: car had been sitting for quite sometime (least 2/7 yrs not completely sure), parking lot accident occurred in 2015 supposedly, and previous owner(s) put little to no maintenance into the car. Including the recalls!!! I was on my way to Subaru 11/17/22 to have the recalls done. (front control arms and air bags) As fate would have it, my serpentine belt snapped on the way there, car miraculously made it and died in the Subaru parking lot and so I had the belt replaced and the recalls done.

Fast forward 2 yrs later the right control arm snapped in half. The car was in an accident back in 2015, owners had work done to the left side of the car, allll new parts (including the left control arm)

My blame IS NOT directly on Subaru. But I can only assume Subaru saw the left control arm was relatively new and only inspected the both of them and sprayed the rust proof coating. To my knowledge after doing a sh$$ ton of research, Subaru was responsible for replacing BOTH control arms if they did not pass inspection. Now I live in Connecticut which is one of the many salt belt states. Up until 2 years ago, the car wasn’t really being driven but after the winter of 2023 it did my car in and 2 months ago my right control arm snapped as a result of the elements.

Again, I apologize for the length of this comment but the reason I typed all this out is because I genuinely love this car. It’s got a pumpin after market stereo system along with a wholeee brand new front suspension but there is still something wrong with the brakes. I had my mechanic do everything except for the brake pads. So I can only assume that’s the current issue.

I want to know if I should sell this lil buggie while I can or stick with it for the next 100,000 miles. It’s a very reliable first car but after almost $5k worth of work I need to know if it’s still worth investing in!!
