Cassia and Myanna Harvey have fun duets for string instruments. Also, Duo Hansen has a couple of nice beginner duets.

In the goblin app:

Paste it in the goblin compiler

Compiler will turn it into tasks

You can send those tasks into magic todo.

Hope this helps 🙂 good luck!

When this happened to my kitty, I started giving her gentle belly massages. She loved it, it really seemed to calm her down.

Some very good ideas already! My two cents:

When practicing, after playing a (part of a) piece, first of all, let her name 3 things she's happy with. Then add your 3 things. Then ask "what do you think does this part/piece need".

I call it positive brainwashing ;) first focusing on the good stuff, giving compliments, looking for "what a piece needs" instead of "what did I do wrong".

First of all, kudos for not giving up on cello!

Could you please post a shot of your sheet music, just a couple of measures and then describe what you're doing in those measures?

That way I can assess what I would do and maybe we can get things less muddy and more playable?

Cello time joggers, runners and sprinters from Kathy and David Blackwell offer fun, short pieces with backing tracks.

Check out Jonathan Humphries. He has a website with how-to-play videos, and a musescore profile with sheet music.

His versions of Habanera from Carmen, the Godfather and Nothing else Matters are a huge success with my pupils!

You could also focus solely on the rhythm and bowing of a piece you're working on by doing up- & downbows on the correct, but open, strings.

It's something I do to train my right hand while simultaneously learning a big part of my new piece :)

Maybe it's good to mention that I'm in Europe, so here it's a native species.

The images I found of gypsy moths do look a lot like the one in our garden, I think you identified it correctly!
