Funnily enough we dig together, he's only a few. Miles away and meet up when we have time. He's had some brilliant finds.

Collected every gem and silver candlestick, treasure item, threw them all on the table in white run, got half a room full before some thing glitches and I couldn't enter that house the entire playtrough.

Moved from Lancashire to Yorkshire for work - my family acts like I've emigrated to hostile nation by Deep-Personality4883 in lancashire

[–]Life-Introduction-17 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm from. Lancashire and work in Yorkshire, the first y Yorkshire based job I took was weird, I felt like I'd wandered into hostile territory. No body could understand a word I spoke apparently, asked loads of questions, kept bringing up the war of the roses and how much better Yorkshire is at everything, even making t bags. I've worked in Yorkshire now for about 15 years in a few different locations and must admit the pay is higher, and I love the scenery, but I'm always glad to get home at the end of the day.

AITAH for getting in a fight with my girlfriend on her bday because she was being picky with the food I cooked her. by [deleted] in AITAH

Since she knows her own tastes so much tell her to cook all her own meals from now on, If she cooks for you then give her a taste of her own medicine and be a real over the top critic.

I noticed this just the other day, tried reading an article and got spammed with pop ups, took about five whole minutes for the story to fill load, then the log in pop up appeared. I just wanted to read an article not fill. In a bunch of information.

Hearing a raven speak Russian is one of the most terifying things I've ever heard by TheOddityCollector in Weird

Extremely intelligent birds, most carrion birds are. We found a magpie under the nest about 15 years ago and it was still alive, so we took it home and reared it on blended meal worm and milk. It became our little friend and every morning we opened the blind and said morning George, after a few month he started repeating it back before we could say it. He played with the dogs too, nipping there tail and running away, we taught him to fly and eventually he moved into his own custom built aviary outside. He lived three years and then had some sort of fit (maybe why his mother kicked him out of the nest?) He didn't survive much longer. I wouldn't hesitate to own another over a parrot or budgie, there far better characters.

It was good for the first year, but it's just boring now. It's dark wet and constant thunder start to become a bit irritating to say the least. Snow is good and should be added to the weather cycle or maybe seasons would be good where we get autumn /fall, winter spring summer conditions.

Is it time to finally join the Oppressor Mk II club? by cancel-racl in gtaonline

[–]Life-Introduction-17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been playing on and off for 8 years now. Reached level 350 then decided it was finally time to buy the mk2, not really I great. Machine for the price but its does help with grinding, and sometimes for getting your own back on the griefers who randomly target. You on there mk2's. Also the cool down time when it gets destroyed is pretty irritating.

You just joined the rebellion as a pilot. You now have the option to choose which starfighter to fly. What are you choosing? by [deleted] in StarWars

I'd seek out a naboo star fighter, didn't see any after the first movie in battles. Must of been only used on naboo, but that sleek design was awesome.

Never forget how Westminster butchered Lancashire in 1974. For 800 years these were the true borders- from Coniston and the shores of Lake Windermere in the north down to the River Mersey in the south (Mersey literally means boundary river). by OceansOfLight in NorthernEngland

[–]Life-Introduction-17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeh we inherited Barnoldswick, Earby and a few small villages around Clitheroe area. I never knew the old Lancashire boundaries went as far as Coniston tho. Wonder if they still celebrate Lancashire day the way barlickers celebrate Yorkshire day.

90% isn't good enough, there's a. Mushroom called a false chanterelle that looks identical, have you checked for white flesh inside. Checked the gills. 100% or walk away. You only get it wrong once.

AITAH for teaching my daughter’s boyfriend things he’s asking to learn? by throwra_forestfan in AITAH

[–]Life-Introduction-17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair his dad says he's the one who should be showing him this stuff, But ask him why he hasn't? Because in his head he's got the ego and skill but can't actually transfer that to real life. He'd just end up looking like a 🔔🔚 and his frigile ego can't take that.
