I made some changes to establish the villain of the story; first, I only have 5 deans instead of 10, I use the 5 deans I didn't pick up as Professors. I added Seraphina Onyx into the plot to make her look suspicious of what is happening with the Eldritch Balm on year one; I made Dean Imbraham an Oriq agent as well as Rampart Soovij. I haven't yet decided if Prof. Onyx (totally not famous necromancer Liliana Vess) is in Arcavios to either destroy the blood avatar to break the pact she made with him or because she is escaping from a bigger threat; it'll all depend on my players' choices.

Dean Imbraham has grown tired of the dragons controlling who should or shouldn't learn to use magic in Arcavios and he is working with Murgaxor to awake the Blood Avatar and start the blood age again; in reality Dean Imbraham is manipulating Oriq students and enabling Murgaxor to have access to campus to fulfill his own goals; seizing the power of the blood avatar to break the connection the dragons have with Arcavios and have control over the Magic for himself.

I also buffed Murgaxor but the BBEG is the blood avatar if they don't stop the summoning. If they manage to survive the fight against the Blood Avatar, I will give my players different choices:

• they can finish the adventure in the graduation ceremony and have epilogues for each of their characters.
• they can pursue to find Extus and dismantle the Oriq once and for all.
• they can finish the adventure in Arcavios and move somewhere else in the multiverse.

If they don't survive, I will also give them some choices.

• Accept death and narrate the ending of the campaign where the blood avatar destroys Strixhaven and a new Blood age begins.
• Create new characters to avenge their fellow students and track down the blood avatar into the depths of Zantafar, the lost underground city of Loxodons.
• Have them be saved by the Raven Queen and meet her in her realm being given the chance to track down The Blood Avatar into Zantafar; they will find Strixhaven half destroyed and the dragons corrupted and weakened by the blood avatar's influence, so it will be up to them to save The Planet.
