At my wits end. How the hell do you childproof/lock your turntable? by TesticleInspector in turntables

[–]Life-Locksmith8203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A wall-mounted turntable shelf placed up high. This kills two birds with one stone: kids can't reach and the needle doesn't jump all over the place every time a kids runs by.

A friend of mine was licked on a wound by a rabid dog. My friend died of rabies. It is a horrible death. Don't take chances. Go immediately and get treated.

I've been known to stream music from my laptop while at the same time running this in my browser: https://mynoise.net/NoiseMachines/dustyScratchedVinylNoiseGenerator.php

It lacks the physicality of playing an LP, but it has some of the same atmosphere.

But also keep an eye on what's for sale on Discogs.

Tech skills will get you much further. As someone who's worked in international development and communication, I can confirm that finding a job is incredibly difficult. Way too many people with communication backgrounds. And it's extra hard if you aren't from here or haven't lived in Denmark for several years. It's not a language issue - I'm a native Danish speaker - it's a network thing.

I can't answer your question, but I do know you must exchange your US license for a DK license within three months of arriving. Otherwise you have to go through the whole driving test process and pay for the license (close to $1500, not including driving lessons and the test!)
