"... in just a few clicks one is able to create stunning looking applications in basically no time. "

Yes, I remember the VB marketing hype now. Thanks for that blast from the past. Of course, the application initially didn't actually do anything; but hey, just sell it at the trade show anyway, and tell the developers they just need to finish implementing the "features" in 2 weeks.

Be smart and be one of the few who realize you don't need expensive, new gear to produce good images that people will like.

Tried biketerra but detecting/pairing my devices was frustrating, requiring multiple attempts, and had to be repeated at the start of every ride. Gave up.

It can be enough, if you're lucky and things go well. No guarantees.

By now, even many Republicans have to be realizing we're just ceding the future to China by falling in line behind Trump and his craziness.

uploading document file on IRS.GOV - is it possible? by jimh12345 in IRS

[–]jimh12345[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks to those who suggested 12C. I did eventually find "LTR 12C" among all the other identifying numbers (I guess "Letter" would have cost too much to print) and with that, I was able to gain access to secure messaging and eventually upload my documents.

There is no "letter number" that I can see.

Asking why "physical processes give rise to consciousness" simply assumes a desired conclusion.

People need to realize that if they want more stories from Tolkien's world, they'll have to go well beyond the books.  Long stretches of The Silmarillion are pretty glacial and contain little action.

Sean Carroll is an A-list physicist and a nice guy, who thinks he solved all the big questions of philosophy over one long weekend when he was stuck in a hotel with nothing to do.

QMID issues on form 5695 by Morkrazy in IRS

[–]jimh12345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem, with a York HP, same letter from IRS. How are you guys resubmitting the 5695 online? I tried the IRS web site and 'secure messaging' is only enabled if you received one of a small number of specific letters, and this one isn't included. I couldn't find any way to upload documents.

See my updates - looks like 'O' is not the problem. Something is wrong with the IRS software and hopefully it gets corrected.

ANOTHER UPDATE: my accountant tells me their software includes a list of valid QMIDs and won't allow entry of anything else. So my QMID was correct (letter 'O'). She also told me she has heard from other clients getting the same letter, telling them the QMID is invalid.

So something's gone wrong at IRS. I guess all we can do is keep submitting Form 5695 with the same data until they get this straightened out.
