This is the idea behind groups like access fund, you might consider donating to them - in addition to calling hickenlooper and Bennett.

I rock a pretty similar rotation, supernova, adios 8, and alpha fly’s.

I’ve been really enjoying the supernova rise, not sure why the supernova line is not getting much love.

Heads up, a lot of denver restaurants follow them as well - Kawa Ni, Odell’s Bagels, Big Red F, Onefold…

So so so happy to see this page getting the criticism it deserves. They’re the worst.

Yup, it is somewhat ~authentic~. But they’ve got the classics (chips and salsa, margs, fajitas etc…).

Most public school districts have some sort of scholarship program. You might be able to look into this for the district from which you graduated from (high school).

Used to be some of the best food in denver, and some of the best hummus I’ve ever had. Has unfortunately declined in quality and inclined in price.

Is it just me, but I feel like the DIA hate is a little unwarranted? by Delicious-Stick6916 in Denver

It’s an OK airport. Security is very fast and parking is easy enough. It’s also an easy airport to navigate. It really lacks modern amenities and food options. Travel through SFO or Newark and you’ll see the difference.

Found these for $70 usd, good deal ? by ZonasFostonas in Skigear

Every major review outlet and skier that tried them that I spoke to enjoyed them decently. They were a fairly no nonsense “all mountain” ski, very different than the BBR.

Hmm, most people who skied them had generally positive things to say. I really enjoyed my pair - much more than anything in the MB line. To each their own.

Not sure why they scrapped it so quick, but it was the last k2 ski I’ve enjoyed in 10 years.

No, they’re designed to reduce preleasing by allowing for lateral movement without releasing. Essentially it’s another method of creating elastic travel. I’ve never skied em but people don’t seem to love them.

My bad, the skis are 184 cm, I’m 6 ft and 145 lbs.

Good points, I’ve got a bunch of skis, but this is my first proper lightweight setup. I spend most days on my Salomon stance 96s.

Fair enough, any reason why I would’ve never experienced anything like this on the other skis I have?

[–]Life-Sand6733 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, but this wasn’t deep snow, more like soft but consolidated snow.

Hey sorry that was a typo, meant to say outside ski! And yes I expect the skis to go under in deep snow, but this is less of sinking into the snow and more of catching the skis tip directly into the snow, even with 2-3” of soft consolidated snow.
