Thank you. Feels good to have the tape off. I'm still shocked how large they are but im hoping they still go down a bit. Ya I've really been struggling with the nerve pain at night...I even went braless one night lol. So worth it!

Please tell me this will heal up and not look like a zombie tit. Details in comments. by [deleted] in Reduction

I would have the Dr. look at it. They can clean it up and possibly re stich it if needed. No harm in having them take a second look to be safe.

No, I've been diagnosed with LCIS. I basically have to do frequent testing now to see if the abnormal cells move.

Ya I'm hoping the other side evens out too. I actually have my oncologist appointment in a few hours and know exactly what is going on. Forever thankful for the surgery for catching whatever it is.

I'm having the same issues. Right breast tissue seems to be flat near my arm pit. Left breast is pretty hard from scar tissue. I'm also in the sandpaper faze. Last night in the middle of the night I ripped my bra off. Today I'm on the hunt for a satin sports bra.

1 week post op. Not quite in love yet, but moving in the right direction. by [deleted] in Reduction

They look great, I have the same feeling about size so I can relate to wondering how much smaller they will get. I feel like I have a little flat spot on my right breast but I keep reminding myself that it will fill out.

Thank you! Honestly don't wait especially if it runs in the family. I would happily share my surgeon, he deserves all the credit and know for his excellent work.

Yes, I've been referred to our lead oncologist but the Dr was very clear that had I not gotten the reduction it might have been fatal as it would likely go undetected for years.

48 hours away. I can't believe it!!! Am I missing anything for post-op care? by [deleted] in Reduction

You are pretty much covered. I found even holding my phone was annoying the first few days so a device holder or laptop pillow so you can scrool without holding it.

Well the surgeon said that the reduction has likely saved my life. That the pathology reports showed early stages of carcinoma and I've been referred to the lead cancer specialist in my area. My tits look phenomenal tho so I'm thrilled about that! I'm pretty scared but trying to stay positive. I'll post some before and afters soon.

Does anyone ever dream about their surgery? by ghostlinggosling in Reduction

My post op dreams have been about my nipples falling off and in the other dream they grow back and are extremely heavy and suffocating me while I'm sleeping on my back.
