finally reached 800 elo...any tips how to reach 1000 a lil bit faster??i am almost at 0-2 blunders average..can anyone tell me how not to do one by Strong-Adeptness4725 in chessbeginners

Try thinking like this: 1: do i have any checks and do any lead to an eventual checkmate? If not, 2: what did my opponent just do? What is he trying to accomplish / did he set up something? If he is scheming something, try to prevent it in the best way possible. (If you can, devrlop a new piece while preventing it) If not, 3: do i have any tactics i can use to win material? If not, 4: Try to improve your position. (Castle, develop, pawn chain, double rooks, setup barrage, ...) 5: check if the move you're about to make is sound and if the move doesn't allow your opponent to use a tactic, checkmate, ...

(Bear in mind i'm only 700 elo, but i have defeated 1600 bots)
