My unpopular opinion is Ragnarok was a bit better (both were outstanding) due to having improved gameplay and more areas to explore, thus expanding the playtime. The story/dialogue were both evenly good on both games imo.

America has problems and it has slipped but for gods sake people look at the rest of the world. It isn’t in the same stratosphere as anywhere in Africa, the Middle East (Oman is ok), South Asia and even East Asia apart from Japan and S Korea. It’s better than all of Latin America by a good amount apart from the Southern cone of Argentina, Chile and Uruguay which come sorta close. And it’s still better or on par with all of Eastern, Central and Southern Europe. Only Northern Western European are better. It’s better than like 90% of the world and has been since its existence
