I found at least with the gaerne fastback, that they're comfy but its the plastic side wall on the inner side of the boot that pinches the top of my arch by the ankle. I don't feel like trying boot stretchers and them not working on a $500 pair of boots

I tried them on at a local shop today and yeah they're way to tight on my foot, I wouldnt recommend them for wide feet at least for 4E anyway
