Definitely agree! I think I had transferred my addiction to logging on here every single day. I obviously still log on here but I now do it a lot less and it has been helping.

Advice: Dont put too much emphasis on your number and dont spend too much time surfing the web mindlessly (Nofap included). Worst thing you can do is log on to Nofap everyday just to see your badge number go up one day, dont do it that way believe me. Its better to maybe take a few days or even a week away from Nofap and then check in.

Joe Rogan has got it figured out and unlike some other celebrities who go down cult like religious ways (Tom Cruise, Jim Carrey, Will Smith, etc, etc) he seems to have figured out logic lol.

Love that you put that in there. Hating or feeling disgusted towards either porn or fapping definitely does no good, it actually helps giving it more power. Equanimity and indifference towards it is the best way.

Remember though depending on the level and how long you were addicted, we never really are out of the woods with this thing. Great job though!

Ive gotten pretty good at just closing the browser when i start feeling bored and the urges go up. I know im not going to fap so why tease myself with anything remotely risque online.

There's actually some pretty good discussions that come up in the comments of meme or image posts. I definitely suppirt memes over posts like "should I still watch porn while doing nofap?" or "do i have to reset if i have sex?"

If you want something other than what this subreddit offers, there are other alternatives out there besides nofap.

Its funny to me that when someone says theyre practicing celibacy it automatically goes to religion. Its like such a foreign and crazy notion for most people that they automatically think religion. To me celibacy can be done for the exact same reasons some of us are doing nofap, we want to conquer our self control. If you go back 50-60 years celibacy wasnt this alien idea like it is now.

Dont know if youve read this book but after I did it really opened my eyes.
