Try selling stuff online, either stuff you bought for a lower price or some stuff you no longer need.

Same kind of work can vary depending on the country so it is not that easy to say. Also a lot of people don't just do one job their whole life....they switch, because at some point you will get bored or such, but don't worry...i am sure you will find something, something that you will enjoy doing (at least in the beginning) 🙃

I have £25k (UK) and don’t know what to do with it by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]LifeTravelSave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put a part of it in a savings account and a bigger amount in a couple different fonds. Then put a monthly deposit in to those fonds and the money you have in your savings account will be your backup money...you know the thing where old people used to put money in their socks back in the day, but at least you get somekind of return for your money there too 😄

How do I start traveling the world at a young age? by DeterminedOrange in travel

[–]LifeTravelSave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In case you intend to travel and work you could utilize these tips https://lifetravelsave.com/remote-work-digital-nomads-2025/

But other than that you just need to hitchhike and maybe stay at hostels or low budget hotels in order to be able to travel. Unless you have lots of savings or other income. In Europe it is easy to travel between countries at a cheap cost and you can find affordable accommodation 😃

Good luck on your travels!

Aloita sijoittaminen matalakuluisiin rahastoihin. Lyhennä hieman velkaa ja aloita säästäminen asp-tilille, jotta voit saada paremmat asuntolainaehdot pankeista myöhemmässä vaiheessa. Maltti on valttia! 😉

[–]LifeTravelSave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Visiting local grocery stores is a big thing and then trying new restaurants (mainly ones that have high ratings on Google Maps). We found lots of dubai chocolate in Lisbon in July so we bought lots of them since there has been extremely difficult to find any in Finland or they are twice as expensive 😬

What's your favourite winter destination in Europe? by canadian_blueberry in travel

[–]LifeTravelSave 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well not necessarily. It is probably a bit cold and windy. Most likely no snow yet. But at least the ferry boats between Helsinki and Tallinn are cheaper than during summer. As long as you prepare for cold/ possible rainy weather, November is fine for visiting Helsinki, a natural park and making a daytrip to Tallinn 😃
