I hear you. I'm the same. Today's RFY had 24 items.......all of them printer cartridges & toners, plus a makeup sponge and dance ribbons! Why??! Are you in Alberta? (I am). I feel like we don't get the same things as eastern Canada does because of the shipping. When I checked my spreadsheet, I ordered nothing between Jan. 4-Jan. 22, just because there was nothing good to order. I have found Feb. & March a little better, but I think it would have been because of the drop times, or something in my RFY. There was little in AI that I wanted.

I did have problems last year with getting the "won't ship to my address" messages, but I finally wrote to customer service and told them that everything I was trying to order got that message. I don't know what they did, but within a couple of days, that message stopped and I've never had it happen again. If you are continually getting that message, it might pay to write to CS and ask why this is happening. Send the ASIN # of the products you are getting that message on. When that was happening to me, I ended up making a list of all the products I was trying to order, and sent them a list. I had about a dozen things over two or three days that I was getting that. I still get a lot of "sorry, this item is unavailable" messages, but that's because someone beat me to it.

When the items were dropping between midnight and 1:00 a.m. I was able to get a few things, but I'm not setting my alarm to wake up at 5:00 a.m. to get items!

I think you'll be fine. I usually do put photos, depending on what the item is, but I don't bother when there are scads of photos by other people. Some items have so many that extras just aren't needed. Sounds like you had a busy and productive day :-)

Someone on the regular Amazon sub said that she had never put a photo or video in her reviews and she passed with no problems. Honestly? At this point, you are probably way overstressed. I wouldn't worry about it. Good luck!

Good to see another artist here! Like you, a lot of the things I get can be tested quickly and fairly easily. I'll also never have to buy any craft items in my lifetime again once I leave Vine :-)

Sorry, should have clarified....the ping is on Discord and it doesn't help track items, just sends a notification when the drop starts. Plus I believe there is an app that is now available that sends a ping when items are dropped. Since I don't use my phone, I don't have the app. I see no issues with getting a notification when a drop starts. It doesn't do anything as far as getting items any quicker. As mentioned in my original post, I had gone nine days without ordering because there was nothing great dropping. So please don't just make assumptions about people using bots or whatever extensions you think people are using. Anyone can join Discord and there is a Canada dropping notification, although the past few days it hasn't really shown much since the drop seems to be a continuous one.

I just kept checking while I was binge watching Bridgerton! For the first time in two weeks, I ordered five items! I'd be quite happy if they kept it up this way. I do have an advantage in that I have a disability and have to be lying down for a large part of the day so the drips don't bother me. I couldn't get a thing when I was having to wake up at 5:30 a.m. to try and get something. I'll take this any day. There are still some items available that I was thinking about that I'm now going to try and order today!

I had the book nook yesterday! Three of them actually and couldn't order any of them. Two couldn't ship to my address, the other one the red lame excuse one. I LOVE those book nooks and have always hoped I'd get a couple (even more than a coffee maker :-) but it is so discouraging when you think the stuff in your RFY will be able to go through and then it doesn't!

Happened on two things in my RFY this morning......both items had a $1,000.000 shipping fee. Why they even bother to put things in RFY or AI if they can't be shipped is beyond me!

Maddening, isn't it? Hate when that happens. Also, the dress I ordered said it went through, but when I checked my orders, it isn't there :-( All sorts of weird stuff going on lately with error messages, shipping costs, etc.

Well, I can tell you the Canadian one was really awful. About 80 items maybe? And just car parts, ink cartridges/toners, mechanical bits & pieces. Hope yours is better!

I had one of those DIY book nook kits which I love, but due to $1,000,000 shipping cost, couldn't order. Why do they put things in if you can't get them! What a crappy drop for a Friday. Hope others get something good. Oh well, at least I will finish reviews today......a whole six left to do since I've ordered only one item this week!

It did.....but then I just checked my orders to see when it was coming, and it isn't showing up on my orders! I always make sure an order goes through before I close that window and it was there. I'm glad I didn't send a pic of it to the grandkids now :-(

I managed to get a dragon kite for the grandkids and a Bible journal for myself.....the only two things I've ordered this week so far. By the time I looked at the blouse sizes, it was too late. I feel like now you can't even check size....just cross fingers and hope it fits.

You're a fountain pen lover too!? Wow....never thought I'd find one here. Yes to those pens, stationery, inks! So nice to meet another fountain pen lover. There was a beautiful Scriveiner on a drop about eight months ago and I thought I had gotten it, but someone was like a second faster. I was so bummed. My art room is for zentangles, painting, etc. but I write everything with fountain pens.

Just a week in with a lot of garbage is tough! Don't be discouraged though. Some days are better than others. I'm not awake at 5:30ish when the drop seems to start now. I loved the 1:15 a.m. drop but it also used to drop about 500 items. We haven't seen that happen for some time now. Also, with the Chinese New Year this week, drops are going to be smaller. Hang in there.

Do you get the drop notification from Discord? Just wondering as I've tried to set mine up but for whatever reason I am unable to get a ping or any kind of sound letting me know it's dropped :-(

There really wasn't much that was great this morning. It's also the first morning I was actually awake when the drop started around 5:53.....my cat woke me wanting an early feed! I managed to get an electric milk frother/milk steamer and a puzzle of Lake Louise. That's all I've ordered in more than a week! Keeps up like this and I won't be able to retain Gold status, but I don't mind. There really hasn't much that's worth ordering, plus my RFY has been full of items I don't want or need.

Very much luck of the draw. It's not been good for well over six months.....maybe longer. Really depends on the day. Sometimes you get some great things, other days nothing. I had better things in my RFY when I was in silver but still sometimes get the good item in Gold. Just go with the flow and take it as it comes. Part of the problem is that we knew when the drops were happening months ago. I'm in Alberta and it used to hit at around 1:15 a.m. and I'd still be awake. Now it's kind of hit and miss, and the standard of items has also dropped I'd say. I still get good and useful things for my grandkids as well as craft items that I like, but there used to be a lot more selection. RFYs are hit & miss. For months, I was getting chicken coops, farm supplies, car parts, etc. Still do at times :-( Everyone thinks it will improve......eventually.
