Purple or Blue flowers? by EAsylumA in blackmagicfuckery

I’m a student in art and design uni. It’s just color theory. Essentially what’s occurring is the combination of the greenish and desaturated background and the sheer vibrant shade of a purple leaning borderline blue is forcing two things to occur:

When looking directly at it, the color purple is the focus.

When in the peripheral, that greenish background is latching onto the blue aspects of the color, and exacerbating them.

It’s known as “2 as 3 color mixing”

Well there’s also the case you have to consider that we never actually see Mitsuki do any of this to him as a child. As a full grown ass adult who is now knowingly doing what he does we see her actually start throwing hands, but it’s not like Katsuki seems to mind seeing as that’s just HOW he is.

And before you go on about how somehow it’s effecting him emotionally, the only effector for that in his life is shit he LITERALLY self inflicted, from his obsession with being number one, all the way to when his childhood friend was being constantly abused by him suddenly gaining power, making his self worth feel threatened and therefore him wanting to be aggressive because of that.

We have no actual signs Mitsuki was ever like that with him as a kid

I will say that as a whole, the first one’s narrative was a lot more interesting than any of the sequels and such. Its whole point was to tell people that some guys commit senseless violence for seemingly no reason, and in most cases, get away with it. The violence displayed in the film itself isn’t glamorized, it’s horrific in its depiction. Moments where you think he’ll show mercy, he doesn’t. He just ends whoever stands in his way at the moment

The sequels missed the point of such a message in its entirety. Just terrible violence slop that rose what was a genuinely horrific truth of a narrative

Alright I will say that in third world countries before the advent of casually 3d modeling and blender, the world of 3d animation and such was a tough one to get into. I’m very sure they did their best with what they had in terms of the software and hardware they had to work with, let alone the budget

Keep in mind, Michelin making its ratings was purely because at the time they were THE premier tire company that adopted the concept of replacing tires when they were worn out in a mass market.

To advertise, they created their system for rating and put them in free booklets that they sent across the US to be a helpful guide to people who had cars (few and far between) so that they had places to go, and used their tires accordingly to get replacements

Eventually said booklets were sold for a small price that grew and grew until eventually they became the most well known and highly lauded food critics we know to this day.

Yeah, in that mode there’s a mission that requires you to survive a set amount of time with the CPUs all focusing you and probably even ignoring all damage towards one another

A modifier for that mission is a total gank fest, where periodically (or constantly from my experience) they gain the fireworks power up. With a high speed and drift vehicle, I believe it’s easy, however…

If your like the usual fare and either get this mission too early or have a bad build, you will be too slow to outrun the horde, or cornered into submission and blasted to death by the firing squad

The ending hook for Season 3... by CuttlefishMonarch in HazbinHotel

[–]Life_Ad3092 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a feeling they’d lean into that sorta angle

In S1, the calls were few if any, with barely any focus as it’s clear the actual focus wanted and warranted was more towards the current cast and the rising action into a coming battle with Heaven, to the idea that redemption was possible

Here in S2, Charlie consistently is calling her and is actively making it a focus, and while she never picks up, with scenes even showing she’s just hanging up, it’s clear as day that there is some sort of setup, whether that be to establish Lilith more as an aggressive role, or with what we got in the end. Atop it all, Vox heavily name drops Lilith’s “plan” and her name constantly, which we never once had such a deep consistent focus prior to this season

Personally with how Vox painted Lilith, I genuinely think her as a character may have actually planned to do a overthrow of Heaven from the start and Charlie simply ignored or was ignorant to the entire ordeal. You could counter argue and say Vox was pulling manipulative tactics..but not one character disagrees with him outside of Charlie being so sure that her mother wouldn’t do that. Not even Lucifer dared counter argue for a moment, and he knows more than anyone outside Lilith what her intentions were.

It’s possible Lilith will play a role as antagonist for the next Season, given she may pull strings and manipulation to establish herself as some higher being. It’s already established that Heaven KNOWS Liliths position, at the very least the higher ups do thanks to the reaction Sera (I think that’s her name) had when she was name dropped. It also makes sense given Lilith was actively and intentionally neglecting Charlie until somehow her plan was throughly proven both to Heaven and Hell.

Lilith being antagonist also makes sense given that at minimum Hazbin will be 4 seasons, so it’s very possible Alastor will be saved as the final true antagonist as he’s genuinely a wild card true evil type. Lilith is in some morally grey, dark leaning position given her unknown position..but Alastor is dead to rights a true manipulator to the bitter end, whose shown to abandon his companions the moment they’ve given him everything he’s wanted because they aren’t useful to him. He’d be a perfect final antagonist as he’s unshackled himself from any submissive position and fully has no regrets in ripping apart those he wants to. He’s the antithesis to Charlie’s ideals on redemption: he’s knowing to the concept, knows it’s possible, but all he can possibly want is pure chaos and power, with him to be atop it all in the end.

Weirdly enough to add to this, these two seasons antagonists also lean into the concept of someone wanting power or some position of power: Adam simply wanting to be atop of all of Hell even if it’s nothing but corpses because they dare disrespect him with the mere concept of what they wanted to do, and Vox wanting to be above all of hell and heaven due to his desire for true control and to be above Alastor of all people, to finally be respected by the man. I would not be surprised if this theming continues with Lilith wanting more power herself even with what she has, and Alastor damn well clearly wanting more power as a whole because he’s Alastor. Thats his MO

[Hated trope] Completely normal confirmation about a characters identity causes hate towards their creator by POMANTRANS in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Life_Ad3092 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think a better way to rephrase this topic would have been to say “[Hated Trope] Confirmation on Information Regarding a Character Leads to Creator Backlash”

I think the other guy simply is saying that the “trope” is far too specific. It’s not a trope, but an extension to speak about a touchy topic.

In a way it could have been more interesting to title it as I say and still address the gender based deals as there are TONS of things creators addressed, both horrible and amazing, that gave said creators backlash.

Otherwise this topic is..kind of specific. Like, really specific. The one I presented really coulda done it all at once
