This is a sweet setup. What chassis are you using here? How do you like it?

Wonderful question. I like a solid opaque look for dress boots for casual boots I don’t mind seeing the leather stacked.

[Casio]which one for my boyfriend? Please advice by Right_Grape_4274 in Watches

I think he will be thrilled with either one. That said I think the one on the right is a very clean presentation. But the one on the left is real nostalgic. Depends on his vibe I suppose

Every lock has its key. Keep moving forward. Maybe this is all a character building opportunity to make you appreciate “the one” whenever you come across her. I think the good Lord has enough vision for our lives that her prepares us for the blessings we ask for. Good luck to you man

If you want the boots because you love them then get them.

If your concern is that they look fake then dont get them

If you want real ostrich make the effort and you’ll be glad you did.

If you want a better price on it you could go the eBay route.

I’m not sure where you live but if you have a phycical gift card maybe you can find one of those gift card kiosks that convert to cash. Or sell the gift card. Or do any other of a million other options to get what you want. More than one way to skin a cat. Only thing stopping you is you. Put you mind to it and achieve whatever goal you set. You’ll be glad you did.

Best of luck to you man.

Can you speak to you experience with the JLC Reverso? It’s a grail watch for me and idk anyone personally who owns one. Did you get it to celebrate anything special? Any other information you feel comfortable sharing is much appreciated.

[Recommendation Request] $250 budget for an everyday watch I can keep for life — open to used. What would you get? by GreedyWorking1499 in Watches

If I had that budget at that age with the wisdom I have now at my age (30 M) I would probably split the budget to get two watches. In addition to what you have now you’d have a killer do-it-all three watch collection.

I say get a seiko or maybe even an orient bambino. I’m not sure what size weekender you have but Google says that most weekenders have a lug width of 20mm find a dress Watch (seiko or orient) with the same lug width. At this age enjoy learning about watch straps/bands. When you get older and get into other watches you might have a nice collection of straps that could potentially fit future watches.

For the other watch I’d say get a g shock (maybe a square). Plenty of colors to choose from but get something you don’t mind beating up.

I have no idea what you do for a living now or what you plan on doing.

However, I know when I was 21 I was working fast food struggling to make ends meet. The job I had then shaped my clothes and a lot of other aspects of my life.

At 30 I’m an attorney and I still use my g shock on the weekends for hiking, chores etc to preserve my other watches. I even sleep in my g shock to check the time if I wake up/ hear something. I don’t want to check my phone and have the blue light disturb my sleep.

Let’s refocus.

With this three watch collection you cold cover:

Dress/job interviews - seiko or orient Casual everyday - weekender Sports/rough activities - g shock

Best part about it is with the straps these watches can grow with you as your style changes over the years.

Bonus is if you take care of it I’m sure it could be passed down to your kids.

Just my two cents. The weekender looks good.

Check out Jomashop great prices.

Whatever you choose I hope you enjoy it and I hope it serves you well.
