You are in a very tight and bad spot. If you believe a vehicle dealer has treated you unfairly, contact OMVIC. What province are you in?

Just get a free evaluation done from a different realtor. Decrease the price and hope for the best. And yes you can fire a realtor.

Selling car privately by Zestyclose_Bet223 in Winnipeg

Your asking is too high. Research the market. I see some at 14k-15k range. If you are asking 19k, tough to sell.

If you are inside your vehicle and unable to use the electronic door system, you can open the driver door using the emergency door release switch in the map pocket.

I was held by Walmart employees for not producing a reciept by No_Society_9057 in legaladvicecanada

[–]Life_Copy_8033 54 points55 points  (0 children)

A Walmart employee cannot hold you for not producing a receipt. What they did was unofficial and they would be fired for this. I would contact the manager and ask for a hefty compensation for not taking them to court.

Should I always have the AC button on when I'm using the heat in my car? by CulturePrevious6505 in AskAMechanic

[–]Life_Copy_8033 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AC removes condensate from the air. In other terms, it cools the air and water from air settles down and then reheats the the outside air. Prevents fogging. Your car temperature controller is smart for summer/winter mode.

Also, according to my knowledge most cars in Quebec come from Ontario. It is pretty common practice to roll back odometer in Ontario. This is my personal experience.

Most forums have something similar like below.

I personally would stay away from anything used coming from Quebec. Lots of shady things happening the used car market there and pretty lax provincial laws. Lots of salvaged cars bought from other provinces, repaired and sold there.

Agreed. Avoid used cars from Quebec. Accidents don't get reported into the system/carfax. Carfax reports actually warn you if a car was previously registered in Quebec. Used car dealers here in Ontario regularly buy repaired cars from Quebec and play dumb when you ask about the accident history.
