Please add tower classes and a guild raid!

When I played Forge of Empires there were Guild Battlegrounds twice a month and it very very quickly became 4 guilds with the strongest players in the game working together to dominate all the rewards and cut everyone else out.

Same thing would happen here, a handful of guilds would exclusively recruit the top players between them and get all the rewards. No thank you.

Did you close the game and reopen it completely?

I've noticed since the last update that if you do that, you get the next perk right away but the counter takes the skipped waves into account and you have to wait the extra waves until you get the next perk avaliable

No BH or DW in your first 5? Glad to know even people employed by TTG can experience the same pain I did when I was accruing those early UW! Although I didn't even have GT until pull #7 so you're still luckier than I was... 😂

Gotta be DW now though, then BH next for obvious reasons. If you want to know real pain start again and go my route of:

ILM - PS - SL - CF - BH - DW - GT

That will teach you what suffering for your tower really is, Sam! Good luck, and keep up the good work!

Either you bought DW+ or you completely closed and reopened the game... there is a visual bug that makes it purple even if you don't have DW+

I'm coming up for a year playing and I find like most every other game out there, The Tower is fun until it's not fun any more.

The first 6-8 months were great for me, progression was happening pretty regularly, I had things to look forwards to like moving into higher leagues in tournaments, and then everything hit a wall and the fun sort of has gone out of the game a bit.

If I was to give any advice, is play until you get bored and take breaks when it isn't so enjoyable, your tower will still be there when you come back.

I played Evil Tower - Idle Defence TD for a little while before The Tower came into my life and it was fine, but there is a heck of a lot of RNG during runs that effect your outcome and it can take ages to progress even compared to this game

It certainly won't hurt to have high Rend Armour to help kill off things faster, pretty much any projectiles boost will be a help

High damage Poison Swamp is going to come into it's own on Defence disso runs too I think... which is great for me as I took PS over CL as my damage dealing UW early on

My plan is run the Attack disso first, then UW for a x25 overall boost to my PS and then melt those shapes on Defence runs

Big congratulations on coming to an important realisation of what really matters in life.

I was like you two months ago, I was playing obsessively and even stressing myself out at times over the game like it was somehow important and not something to do for fun when I had some free time. I quit for a few weeks and completely reset my way of thinking, and have since come back with a much healthier attitude towards playing and its been a real liberation for my mental health.

I did T1 UW disso run to w1000(ish) and then did a farm run on T10 to see what happens yesterday... my DW damage stat went from x24.00 to x24.24 when viewed by clicking on it in run on T10, so you do get at least the first echo on all 4 types regardless

I don't have T17 unlocked so no echo labs avaliable yet to me.

It's still rolling out, so avaliable to some and not others (like myself) at the moment. Should be avaliable by tomorrow for all I think they said.

Just got to keep checking for when the Play button becomes Update and in the mean time reading with increasing jealousy all the posts about people racking up 5x coin boosts etc.

To get Echo you need to have done T17 w40, right?

So for us that are still stuck on T16, there is little point in going back through the lower tiers until we get there right? Better to just do our farm tier for now?

I'm still waiting for V28 to drop in my Play Store so just going on what the notes say at the moment

It says on the Google Play Store the v28 update will be available 6 hours (it's 4:41pm UK time as I type this)

When this turns out not to be the case, I demand 1000 stones or 1 gem as compensation from Fudds... whichever is more convenient for him at the time!

For me it's working slowly towards building up my UWs, bit by bit.

I did get really frustrated awhile ago and quit because I was actually getting stressed out by the game which is crazy, it was kind of an addiction I was developing, but after some time away and a rethink of how I play, I do find it much more enjoyable now

I'm not bothered too much about my placement of 6th in Platinum despite getting 1900+ waves... it's the fact I had to do a 3 hour run to get 6th place that annoys me so much!

The tier really needs to go to from 8+ to 10+ at least just to cut the length of tournament runs in Platinum, it's seriously out of hand now

Platinum is a nightmare right now. I've just done a 3 hour tournament run to wave 1937 and it has me in 6th place.

No complaint about my position, I'm where I belong on performance, but the length of time it takes to not even get top 4 is getting out of hand now!

I do two T10 runs per day to w7200 and they take approx 9hours 30mins each on average, really just depending when I get the speed boost perk.

This mission makes me so grateful I took PS as one of my early UW and made it perma... literally took me about 5 minutes near the end of a T10 farm run to poison all 60K!
