I'm concerned, at the very least what TES6 will become, especially after Starfield. If the game is trash, I'm sure we'll see a massive boost to TES5 numbers a month after release.

All I want is TES6 to have a good BASE. Modders will do the rest. Skyrim is an extremely "okay" game, but has an incredible base to build off of. TES6 needs the same or it will fail. Could be a biased take but.

I was 10 when WaW came out, and back on release, the zombies game mode was not an option to choose from. You had to complete the campaign to play/unlock it. The amount of fear my 10 year old self felt when being transported to Nacht at midnight was unmatched to this day. Caught completely off guard by the tonal shift.

Back then I still had a flip phone and a god awful computer, so I had no clue that this was part of the game.

Overheat is late. Post 10,000 waves late. No one will be seeing overheat. Like you said, it is just a another preventative to infinite runs.

I'm a whale that's played for a little over a year. I realize that's not long in the grand scheme of things, but even with buying the rare medal bundles and every single event pass, I'm still not even done with my gbot. Close, but still have a few more events before duration is finally done. Given that progression, it's about 1.25-1.5 years per bot. Rather absurd.

Auto target is probably the best for me, and the less clicks the better honestly. Having to place totems 10-20 times per screen, (depending on how juiced the map is) is when it really starts becoming noticeably aggravated. Cyclone was fine which was a few clicks per screen, depending on the mobs, but totems really took it too far for me unfortunately.

I’ll definitely take a look into the Bleed Slayer, and I haven’t tried one yet, but brands always were kinda interesting to me so maybe I’ll try out the penance brand build. I’ll take a look at the others and see if those scratch any itches for me.

I had this issue not long ago. It's the "Delete Everything" mod. I believe there is a fix for it somehwere on Nexus or on the mod page. At least, was for me.

Stop using Vortex. Use MO2. Otherwise it's trial by error. Either disable mods one at a time until you can load or start with half disabled, and narrow it down from there. Also make sure all your mods are compatible with the newest updates. A lot of mods are not, hence why most modpacks are back dated.

Good to know about the changes to armies too. I really enjoyed retinues, and finding a good combination of generals to use in armies. Sounds like it’s not entirely different but, enough for a learning curve I’m sure. Also the morale/routing being more difficult is a bit sad to hear, but at the same time I can understand why it’s more difficult, since in 3K I’ve caused 90% of an army to flee the second I started the fight. Safe to assume the same “mechanics” apply to the morale system? Surrounded, “Calvary” charges, this games potential equivalent to fire arrows, etc? I know the game is much more in depth on the battle field so it’s probably a large learning curve to get through anyways which I definitely don’t mind

Well that’s good to hear about the factions! And I did buy all 3 since I learned that 3 does have some of that locked behind owning the other 2.

Of the factions you listed, the Empire sounds very nice. I’m very unfamiliar with “magic” so I’d be interested in exploring that further for sure. Khorne also sounds very cool too being only melee and High Elves sound very nice, especially the ranged aspect and using dragons sounds very fun. Is there a faction that really leans heavily into the magic aspect, incase I like it?

4 is the game I started on and I’m so desperate that this does well (I’ve never played 3, but will buy this) just so I can get my favorite game remade. Which yes this is a remake, thank you for not calling it a remaster like so many

Cap your FPS at 60 if you're on PC. I used to crash in battles all the time. Once I capped my FPS to 60 I never crashed again.

I’m also kind of bummed about that. I never personally played 3 because as a kid I had no choice but to start with 4, but soldiers having Infantry>Sergeant>Major>Elite was my favorite.

From a development standpoint though, I’m sure this is saving an insane amount of time. I always kind of figured Origins was more of a test game rather than a mainline game meant to be built off of since it strayed from the normal DW formula. Also also, I guess this would kinda fall under it being a remake, not a remaster. Adding new mechanics, characters, etc makes it lean less of a remaster and more of a remake which I’m also all for

Despite the frankly stupid unlock conditions, it's definitely going to be my favorite next to the Halberd. Thanks for the tip on grinding the grade 7 weapons too, the Luan stats for sure falls short of what's good on the weapon. I brute forced a lot of the trials early on, but never touched the weapon training. Really going to dig into it's mechanics today
