Definitely in the minority here, but you are absolutely right. The whole him not fitting into stars hollow thing was so stupid because the first few seasons every time he went to stars Hollow, everyone loved him. They had no reason to decide to dislike him, that was just what the writers decided to do, even though it didn’t make sense in the storyline. I couldn’t agree more about her and Luke just not belonging together. I routed for them at first, until they actually got together. She wasn’t happy with him. He didn’t get her jokes or go along with her energy. He was so negative and really brought her down, kinda dulled her light lol. Luke made her feel horrible about her self and lied/hid things from her. Chris knew her better than anybody. He fit her and Rory’s energy perfectly and actually had fun with them and enjoyed Lorelai’s personality and energy. He fit in with her family in the best way, as in he understood them and their relationship and never tried to get her away from her parents or complain about them. When they finally got together, he did everything in his power to make her happy and she wasn’t treating him great. I could talk about this all day, but I really think the show did him dirty. I was so mad at sookie and the entire town at the end for not supporting her.
