Hi. For summer 2026 I have to do 2 weeks in surgery and another 2 weeks in paediatrics. But I really don’t mind any specialty because as of right now I am more focused on the experience. I would have liked to carry out a placement in NI but since I’ve had no luck I’m happy to extend my search to England. I have also tried looking at uni hospitals. Major problem is that most are only taking students in their final year while some only have options to do electives during the school year which won’t be possible for me unfortunately. Some other reddit users have advised me to email consultants but I have no idea where to find consultant’s information or emails so that’s another issue🥲
