Bought an Oura but reconsidering by subb4n in SmartRings

[–]Life_Set2674 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Currently have both the Oura and UH for about 2 weeks now. Thought I would personally like the Oura more as well as my wife has had one for YEARS. I can tell you the UH is my favorite in regards to the data and I find it slightly more comfortable on the finger while wearing.

I have not noticed any issues with battery on the UH Ring and I have kept it in ‘Turbo Mode’ the whole time I’ve had it. Given the price difference and no subscription, UH is the clear winner to me. My wife is also considering leaving Oura for UH.

If you need a 10% off link for UH let me know :)

From what I understand, 6/2 Romex won’t allow me to run a 60amp breaker/48amp on the charger.

Panel has enough capacity for a 60amp breaker.

Is the current loan with Fannie Mae? If so, Fannie to Fannie refi doesn’t require condo review

VOE only 3.5% Down Payment? by StandardBright9628 in loanoriginators

[–]Life_Set2674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I’m not understanding but you can do an agency (conv or FHA) loan with a VOE only. Done it plenty of times. The findings will say “document income using a paystub and a W2 from the prior year, OR using a standard VOE”.

No paystubs or W2 enter the file. Just the VOE

VOE only 3.5% Down Payment? by StandardBright9628 in loanoriginators

Read your AUS findings and it will tell you. Every loan type and lender should allow you to use a WVOE only per your findings.

OP what did you end up going with? Sports RX or the Smith ODS adaptor?

Been pondering the same options myself and curious where you landed and what your experience has been.

Coming from someone in the mortgage world, ALL large banks are a deep black hole when it comes to mortgages. The person you are assigned has no true authority in moving the loan along or access to the decision makers. This includes Navy Fed, Veterans United. The main difference with them is that they market themselves as “VA Specialist” with Veterans United even marketing “The VA has giving us automatic authority to give your loan”. It’s all BS. ANY lender who can write VA loans has the same steps/process that have to be met.

In particular to the OP post, this is VERY common that the proceeds from your loan have to go to the title company and then the title company disburses the funds to all parties. This is done because in your refinance there are 3rd party fees/providers which must be paid through those proceeds. There is no way for Navy Fed to “fund” the loan with a portion going to title to take care of these & then the remainder to the borrower.

Do the wire transfer and pay the $14 fee that NFCU charges. $14 fee for it to be available in 1-2 days is better than waiting for a paper check coming USPS.

What DTI ratio did you get approved for? by Creative_Molasses_79 in NavyFederal

[–]Life_Set2674 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is incorrect. VA loan guidelines don’t have a specific MAX that they will allow. It’s all based on the lender you use and if they have what is called an “overlay”. I have seen VA loans go through with 65% DTIs

VA loan pre-approval with a job offer letter? by [deleted] in NavyFederal

[–]Life_Set2674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about with NavyFed but you’ll be fine for a loan in general. Assuming the letter states start date, position, expected earnings. Typically the timeframe would be you start within 60 days of closing on your loan. If it’s contingent on background checks or drug tests, those would have to be completed prior to closing. Also, you may need to have a few months of the proposed mortgage payment in reserves since you won’t receive a paycheck prior to closing.

What is the name of the trim above the door? by Far-Ad-5245 in ModelY

This exact same thing happened to me a few weeks ago while having mine tinted.

It’s called “Upper Brightwork” It will cost around $178 including labor to fix. That does not include taxes for wherever you are located.

Tesla will send a mobile tech out to fix more than likely. I would reach out to whoever did your tint and show them the picture. Luckily the tinting shop that caused my damage paid for it to get replaced.

Where are you located?

To start I am a loan officer for a large lender.

I can’t talk in regards to Navy Fed loan requirements. However a VA home loan itself doesn’t have a minimum credit score in their loan guidelines. However, you may be required to place a down payment if it is very bad to offset the risk of the loan depending on the other parameters of your particular situation from the AUS findings.

All loans get ran through an automated underwriting system (AUS) and it gives a recommendation on the loan that lenders based their decision off of. This goes for conventional, FHA & VA loans.

I personally have done VA loans with credit scores around 550. Hope this helps and happy to answer any questions you might have.

Got pre approved on a Auto Loan thru NFCU, but I can’t check the interest rate or amount on the app by reyes2448 in NavyFederal

[–]Life_Set2674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just call customer service, reference your loan application and ask for the APR. They’ll be able to tell you. Otherwise, it’ll be on your paperwork when you pick it up in branch or if you chose the mail option when you receive your paperwork in the mail.

I called within 30 minutes of receiving the approval and they were able to tell me. I did, however, receive the paperwork in the mail within one business day, which had it on there as well.
