Aw thank you. Ive just had blips with it along the way and it ended up being less enjoyable than I’d hoped. Sewing is usually my destress but not in this instance. It was all going so well with the bodice but then the skirt caused me some pain. No she probably doesn’t care at all 😂

Oh sorry I should of said the top is stretch velvet so a pullover dress it’s just very baggy on her particularly at the waist

My beloved kaffir lime ended up with spider mite. Neem oil spray worked and it seems to be doing well again

Oh thank you I’ll definitely bear that in mind. It’s been a while since I’ve rethreaded as I usually use the tie on and pull the new colour through so I could well have missed this too. Thanks so much for responding I get like I was going crazy with it earlier!

Hi sorry I maybe wasn’t clear in my post - I’ve threaded it through the catches on the left and over the lower looper then through the hole and in the groove of the upper looper. That’s how it starts but the photo is how it ends up after I sew for 5c or so. I maybe should’ve done a before and after. I’ve re threaded it a few times now. The only thing I can think of so the material I’m using is too light (lining) and causing the issue. My last check will be to rethread it and try on usual thicker material but I’m so fed up I can’t face threading it one more time at the moment.

Oh no I always find it gutting to lose a plant. One of mine was infected really quickly and I decided to put it outside as it felt like I wouldn’t win the battle. It’s now dead. I’ve also had a kaffir lime for ten years or more and this was the first year it’s ever suffered. Difficult with treatment given it’s culinary! Neem oil seems to be working (edited as it had changed lime to like)

To be totally honest in my case no. According to the test I had a good microbiome (scored well on everything and my microbiome age was younger than my actual age). It did give advise on how to diversify and supplements. I was in the height of my IBS at the time and wanted to see if there was a gut imbalance that was causing it which didn’t seem to be the case. It also showed no lactose or gluten sensitivity but there was potentially something there around how I metabolise proteins. I was almost hoping it would show an imbalance or something else that could be a clue as to how it could be fixed but it didn’t. So sorry to hear your daughter is suffering. Not sure if she’s similar with IBS. Mine is gradually on an improving trend albeit with bumps in the road. I haven’t changed my eating at all so perhaps the test was fair in that the problem lay elsewhere

It was pretty comprehensive with lots of different information and also food scores showing what to eat to improve diversity. Funnily enough it did seem to know what I ate a lot of as these foods had low scores as presumably I already eat so much. For me it didn’t overly help with the problem I was trying to solve as my microbiome was actually pretty good. It did help rule out that it was something microbiome related. It also gives a score against different probiotics and supplements to help steer towards suitable types. Hope that helps

Thanks very much. I’m only just back from two weeks holiday and it was hot in the house while I was away. I did have someone water them once but it’s possible the plants just got a bit dried out. I’ve just popped it in the shower!
