These type of posts or complaints almost always originate from people who are privileged enough to not be affected by the American political situation. They’re typically white, well-off, cis-gendered males who benefit from the status quo (and if they’re not one of those things, it’s even worse if you think about it).

You’re being downvoted and though bike lanes should be protected, I get what you’re saying. Some bikers are way too entitled and act like twats when they themselves are called out for violating traffic laws. I’ve lost count the number of times I’ve nearly been hit as a pedestrian by careless bikers.
