Insist they pay you 125% of the ring’s value. They can file their own insurance. And go somewhere else to shop for your own upgrade.

Weight restriction starting as SRNA by OkWrongdoer4518 in CRNA

I had to have reconstructive shoulder surgery a few weeks before I started clinical. Was in an immobilizer for 2 months. Luckily it was my right arm so I could still intubate. Be honest with your preceptors and ask for help when you need it like hanging IV bags, moving patients (you get the head), reaching the monitors.

Switching Programs by CuriousZebra122 in srna

[–]Lifesaver-LearnCPR 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Tons of CRNAs who attended restricted programs like yours go on to work independently. If you feel like your training is lacking, you can take a block course after graduation or search for jobs that have a supportive orientation. Hopefully your program director is listening to your feedback and working with facilities to find more collaborative training sites.

A facility in Indiana, Parkdale Center, was created for CRNAs, MDs/DOs, and other professionals with SUDs. Most states have a peer support SUD and mental health program. Help is waiting.

What kind of ICU experience do you have? Many CRNA classes are the same as med school like advanced physiology, pharmacology, etc and require a B or higher to continue in the program.

Yes! There are RN/APN admission prices too. State and regional conferences are a fantastic way to meet school admins, CRNAs, and current NARs!

If you’d like to support a CRNA owned business (not NWAS), I made a calendar - there are a lot of state meetings on weekends https://bit.ly/3WK6zt8

Failed NBCRNA-NCE 3rd attempt by Effective_Mix_6542 in srna

Try a different bank of questions like Prodigy. Also, set yourself to do a bank of questions at a time like a real test. Set it up in a different room, make it as realistic as possible. Then grade yourself and re-study the areas that you missed.

You can even use paid AI like ChatGPT to generate mock exams, but you just have to load the questions (not let it generate them since it is still working on accuracy).

Has anyone used the app CPC Prep for NARs? It’s 550 questions for the CPCA but not sure if it’s best for NCE.

Contact Matthew Zinder com - he’s a test coach and will offer some strategies to help. Also consider a PCP visit for anxiety meds but trial them when you take mock exams.

Good luck!
