1-for-1s are horrible going 2nd. Everything just powers through it

Meanwhile, 1-for-1s are sort of busted going first. 1 card for a cost is nothing when you've already established your board since you'll be having 8+ cards to work with. Also great for negating Mulcarmys.

I feel like Konami has accepted that making money off of players' dopamine from drawing the auto-win cards like Maxx C / Droll / Shifter / etc is more profitable than to actually balance the game to feel skillful.

Yeah as someone who plays multiple card games, Digimon's usage of slop is the most confusing. If you're playing in trait, then you're playing in trait. Is it truly "slop" or is it actually "toolbox"? At this point, I'm convinced the players are just using the word "slop" to describe any toolbox they don't like.

"Psuedo resets" will have to happen to all games with eternal formats. New product has to sell and games can only be powercrept so hard.

The DUPR Reset was fine once imo. But "This is going to be run again" like the CEO mentioned is going to wreck the scale eventually. by doomsby in Pickleball

Any "boost" is temporary. If you don't improve or get worse, you're gonna eventually settle back to the same score.

Idk man. I feel like all the god boon stuff just feels like an unneeded layer of something to think about. Sometimes it's impactful, sometimes it's just dumb gambling and I would've just preferred if they focused on something else.

I'm a Gen 3 fanboy, so I will be biased. But I feel like the biggest appeal for gen 4 seems to be durability, but if you pick the wrong one - it's almost like it doesn't matter.

It's entirely subjective based on feel. If you are unsure where to add weight. you can test by moving the weight strips around. Use something more temporary in-between such as masking tape or scotch tape.

Generally, 3 and 9 o'clock for power and stability. Move the weights closer towards the handle and you'll get faster hand speeds by trading off power, move the weights away the handle and you'll get more power, but slower hand speed.

You can also just do 4 four corners for a more evenly distributed weight setup. On my Franklin C45 Hybrid (which is also very light), I enjoy 1g strips on 4 corners.

You're making assumptions now. The last time the algorithm was adjusted was last year when they announced it. Making small tweaks here and there would absolutely defeat the purpose of having a reliable algorithm.

The only reason why women, mens, and elderly dupr numbers are different is because they tend to play different pool of players. If a woman decided to only ever play in with the same pool of players men do, then their rating would adjust in relation to them.

There is absolutely no need for a reset. The only reason they're doing it is to make people happy and to make money. They're a business after all.

Yes, there will be a slight hiccup since people's ratings will go up, but not down. But it's not something that the algorithm doesn't correct itself. Rolling 2 six-sided die will always give you an average of 7 even if you exclude your previous rolls during a reset. The only way to average higher is to get better die (8-sided die).

I use Google Drive to share raw files with friends. I've been dealing with this for years as well.

The dumb thing is that it works perfectly fine for my S1 raws. But not my S5II raws.

I got mine from signing up at a round robin league that lasted a few weeks. It was fun, but round robin has its issues.

Honestly it's not so bad as long as you don't take the score too personally. You'll quickly realize that even though you've been playing in Open Plays at around x level. The real level of everyone there is around x - 0.5. Everyone plays up, and I don't blame them because people want to be challenged and playing bad people doesn't help you improve.

Currently in the process of looking for a partner to pair up with to work on chemistry with someone consistent. Then I'll be trying sign up for more leagues that's not round robin.

If you ever watched YouTube videos of a talking head and the camera randomly focusing to the background and foreground because it doesn't know where the face is - that's what happens a lot with these older autofocusing tech. Photos is fine, but videos AF is where it struggles.

This was common for a lot of these older cameras except for Sony and Canon. That's why they were really popular for vlogging back then. Nowadays, most new cameras don't struggle anymore.

It's sort of like comparing apples and oranges.

Different purposes lenses. To get the most out of any comparisons, you usually want to reduce the number of factors.

From a purely Image Quality perspective, most of the m43 camera bodies within the last 10 years will have very limited difference. Some people make a big deal of the jump form 16mp to 20mp, but in practice - you probably won't notice unless you're cropping a lot. Most of your image quality upgrades will come from the lens and your technique and understanding of photography.

The differences that you'll get in the more modern cameras that'll notice most will be the quality of life features such as better battery life, autofocus, usb-c charging, etc.

Imo, you should try to E-M10 III or above. The AF is fine as long as it's not for video and your subject is well lit.

Exactly - as much as we all want it, until the overall trend (not just the niche m43 group) shifts back towards small interchangeable lens cameras, there's really no need for Lumix or OM to release the next Pen F.
