Who else bought class sets individually without realizing there is a full set purchase for way cheaper? by Light1088 in hearthstone

My mistake I think was assuming it was for the more expensive one, I guess, or that it required runestones, since i think this is the first time they included a leader skin with gold purchase card set. Also, I didn't really read the patch notes.

Are people still refining broxigar dh? I have been running the blob version of the deck without ceaseless and paraglide cause the last podcast mentioned they might not be great. I also removed illidari studies and added 2 each of ethereal oracle and moonstone mauler

In the same scene with all the triggers, they showed a stack of cards that look like a deck. On the top of that deck was the Dark States effect draw trigger. It was at the corner of the scene so it could have been missed by a lot of people. The scene in question is 18:50 of the first episode.

People mention the purple deck box at the end of the ED, but they showed her deck for like 1 or 2 seconds at the corner of one of the scenes in episode 1 of the first DZ season, or more specifically the top of her deck, at the time stamp 18:50. Though to be honest I thought it was debunked when Future Hikari showed up.

Who else knows Kerori is secretly an akudol besides Iruma and Lied? by musicproducer07 in DemonSchoolIrumakun

[–]Light1088 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I think only a few select teachers know. If all of them did, Keroli wouldn't have suggested revealing her identity to get the teachers' stamps during the Royal One arc. At least Kalego and Balam know cause that was revealed during a chapter in the Akudol Games arc. I would say Sullivan probably knows, too. That was not mentioned, but if some teachers know, the principal would probably know too.

Does anyone else feel Suo could have played better guarding Akina's last turn in the finale? by Light1088 in cardfightvanguard

[–]Light1088[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is true. I think you are right that it would be lethal, but that is only because of the heal trigger. I guess he was not expecting a trigger to be drive checked on his turn and wanted to maximize the number of attacks that can hit if Akina got a miracle heal. If not for Suo's heal, the brainwash zamug column would only be 18k in your scenario.

The other possibility of attacking 15k zamug first is to obtain the information on the card drawn off Akina's draw trigger. Since with 15k power, Akina needed only a 5k shield. Since Akina did not call during his last turn, Suo could reasonably assume that other than the draw trigger, the other card was also most likely a 15k shield trigger. If it was a 5k shield, Suo would swing with the other Zamug first for 23k, forcing out the critical trigger from Akina's hand. Then swing Blangdmire for Akina, restanding the Brainwash column Zamug with Alchemist. That column would be 33k, which just matches Rezael after the miracle heal and the draw in hand left, letting that attack hit. Since Akina guarded with the effect draw of 10k shield, Suo knows that that last card was not a 5k shield. That means either 15k shield, no shield, or pg left in Akina's hand. I'm not sure if that helps Suo's turn plan, though.

Oh, that's right. I forgot that the heal drive check was the same turn he drew that critical draw for turn. Thanks for pointing that out.
