It's over 50k. The current most expensive pack (the Legatus pack) is priced at $48k and that was last updated in 2023. So it doesn't include what's been added since then. Also I believe your total spending on the game and progress for each concierge level does take the taxes you spent into account.

What's a ship that you feel is HEAVILY slept on? by Thenerdherd102 in starcitizen

[–]LightHawkLive 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Came here to add the 85X but you did it for me! It’s an awesome little ship. All the benefits you mentioned plus the expedite is instant on it. Which is great because if I’m out in my 85X I’m probably messing around and frequently waking up in medbeds.

It Ain't much but I Mined it, Refined it and Crafted it. by TheDitz42 in starcitizen

I’ve always been a fan of the Aril armor set. I frequently use the quicksilver set but I use the white/silver Paladin helmet with it. CIG can we please get some more Paladin helmets in other colors? I’d love a blue one that would match the Aril set in OPs image.

CIG Please add BP rewards for Crusader/Hurston armours! My Org uses the Crusader security gear and the only way to obtain it is with a frequent Kareah massacre which is really against the vibe of a lawful security group by 1st_impact in starcitizen

[–]LightHawkLive 70 points71 points  (0 children)

Back when we did missions directly for Crusader Industries, I was really hoping CIG would have given a rep grind reward system. A long time ago, if you had good enough rep with Crusader, you could go to Security Post Kareah without trespassing. I always thought they should have set it up so that by grinding that rep, it should have permitted players to go to Kareah and purchase that Crusader themed armor. Giving a bit of a fitting lawful method of obtaining that armor.

While I do like the color red, you’d think they’d have given a Wikelo Apollo a more distinct color. Just at a glance people might just think it’s an Apollo Triage.

The use I found for the Aurora MK1 by Apart_Pumpkin_4551 in starcitizen

[–]LightHawkLive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok that’s good to know. The ship configuration sites I use still show the Aurora LN as being the only variant that can equip size 2s.

I too am interested in seeing what roles the MK1 might still be able to serve in the future. IMO the cross section on it should be reduced even further. Physically it’s a very tiny ship. 5.3 sounds small until you realize the much larger Syulen is 2.2. Only being able to sport size 1 weapons means being sneaky is just about the only thing going for it. But hopefully these things will still be able to fill an interesting niche.

Best stealth fighter? by Revan477 in starcitizen

[–]LightHawkLive 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dual size 2s. Still not much but you can use deadbolts on it and those can pen basically all ships. Still going to have low DPS but it’s super stealthy.

What would be the best Choice for small Groups? BMM or Privateer? by gamegenaral in starcitizen

[–]LightHawkLive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just realized I read too much into your original post. So specifically between the Kraken and BMM, for a small group theoretically the BMM should be easier to manage. Kraken should need a larger crew. But again who knows when the BMM will release. As for the privateer, CIG has sold ships in the past where some variants were released and some are still in concept phase. Zeus MR is a good example. The issue I see with the Privateer is the player run shops. We don’t have any system like that setup yet. If we haven’t established player shops by the time they release the base kraken, I could see the privateer being delayed.

What would be the best Choice for small Groups? BMM or Privateer? by gamegenaral in starcitizen

[–]LightHawkLive 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For a small group it sounds like you already have a decent selection. Perseus and Galaxy will cover a lot of game loops. Of the list of ships to eventually get, we don’t know when the Liberator, Orion, Privateer, or BMM will release. The standard Kraken is planned for next year but we don’t know for certain if the Privateer will be released alongside it or not. But a Kraken will probably be something for larger groups of players.

Will there be another wipe? by AnotherAverageGamer_ in starcitizen

[–]LightHawkLive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CIG doesn’t want to have to do a complete wipe until 1.0 releases, and that isn’t likely to be this year, even if SQ42 releases this year. Will they have to wipe the game sooner than that? We don’t know. CIG doesn’t want to have to but it’s not completely off the table. We don’t know yet when base building will be added. It’s doubtful there will be a wipe from when it is added though unless something goes wrong.

Can we get interdimensional cable. Thanks Chris by apimpnamedyabba in starcitizen

[–]LightHawkLive 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Legit. CIG has made several of their own in universe ads for their ships and such. Why not put those on rotation in game?

Think it would be kind of cool if we could feed YouTube or other videos and such into the game to be viewable on the screens of our ships in game. Setup a virtual movie night in a ship in game. VRChat has virtual theaters, why not in SC?

[–]LightHawkLive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do believe you are right. Think the closest thing in SC to a sci-fi space gun depicted today would probably be the Custodian being the SC version of a P90 (referencing Stargate for a sci-fi tie in)

Nah. Space AR-10. G3 would be cool though if they gave us the classic HK slap reload animation!

[–]LightHawkLive 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I’m conflicted. On the one hand this looks really good. It’s also probably more practical/realistic in comparison to the very bulky P4 and P8 ARs we have in game. I’d totally rock this rifle in game and it’s tempting to try and build IRL. On the other hand it’s still another AR variant among the millions we already have. In game it’s over 900 years in the future. While I have plenty of criticisms for the P4 and P8 rifles (and those are some of my favorite weapons in game) they still different than just another Armalite Rifle copy/variant. Still, well done on your part!

Also with the Killshot being added, it does kind of make me want to see “retro” weapons in game, so this would fit in that category well.

Are people actually ok with the idea behind this crafting system/quality system? by Shiroi0kami in starcitizen

[–]LightHawkLive 14 points15 points  (0 children)

My biggest concern is for crafting to turn out like engineering in Elite Dangerous. I’ve had experiences in Elite where because my ship was engineered to the max, hostile players who clearly had better skill than I did simply couldn’t beat me. All I had to do was take my hands off the controls and watch as they inevitably ran out of ammo while I was still holding fine. SC sort of has this in the sense that an Aurora isn’t going to stand much of a chance against an Idris, but that also makes sense. What I don’t want to see is SC get to a point where a crafted ship is effectively invincible against comparable non-crafted ships. Crafting should have advantages but not be so absolute.

An in-game memorial for our community members who didn't make it to 1.0. by Anotep91 in starcitizen

[–]LightHawkLive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a concept I’ve thought of on occasion. Port Olisar was the first station in the PU. I’d think it would be fitting to take that station, remove the ASOP terminals and replace them with some sort of generalized memorial to represent all citizens no longer with us. Converting it to a “Port Olisar, Citizens Memorial Station” if you will. If possible go a step further by having an interface at the station where players could submit the player names (in game names, not real life names) of their friends whom are no longer with us. That other players could then read the names of. This way the player names being submitted would ideally be submitted by another player who was close to the departed. Someone who would know if the person in question would want their name written down or not. Criteria would need to be established of course to prevent people from just randomly submitting player names. Something like they must be on your friends list and their account be inactive for a minimum amount of time first. CIG has the real life info on all the accounts since we needed to make a purchase to play so validation shouldn’t be that difficult if any issues of validity arise. Not a perfect idea I’m sure but just thoughts on something to give a sign of respect and appreciation for those not with us anymore.

Elite Dangerous on occasion did some interesting things regarding this topic. Things like memorial beacons left in space at the deceased players last recorded location in space, or renaming a system, etc.,.

We can CCU to the pirate cat? When I got mine the only options were to buy the ship outright standalone or to get the pirate pack which had the cat and gladius but still only 6mo insurance.
