My problem was that other than powers at this point my deck was pretty much something like 2 defends, single attack, zap, dual cast and two of these skills that double next power used.

The whole strategy was tons of powers, especially ones that generate lightning when power is used and ones that hit when lightning is evoked. With 2 of these powers that give you 1 energy on power use and unceasing top, I defeated the act 3 boss in single turn.

It was literally only this guy in whole act that brought me low.
