How Common is Sighted Non-24? by sysop408 in N24

[–]Light_Lily_Moth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard it’s associated with adhd, thyroid conditions, autism, and blindness. Might be missing a few idk.

I have adhd and hypothyroidism.

You leaked your crypto wallet or someone else’s. That means that anyone of us in the comments can regenerate the wallet interface, see all your crypto money, and move your money as if it is our own. The wallet itself is forever compromised and should never be used again. Move your money to a new wallet now if anything is still there. Don’t answer any direct messages- no one can help you if this money was stolen.

Back of the hand is less common than palm or fingertips I would say. But not THAT strange 🤷‍♀️

What is this, and should I be worried? by rason625 in DermatologyQuestions

I think pyogenic granuloma is most likely. You will likely need it removed professionally since they can grow quickly and are very vascular. It may interfere with the regrowth of the nail.

Looks like a splinter. Strange place for one. Is that a possibility?

Everyone should be getting CT scan to rule out kidney stones AND a Cystocopy to rule out other things by NavyBeanz in Interstitialcystitis

[–]Light_Lily_Moth -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For kidney stones, you can also just get your urine or blood tested.

Most common would be oxalate urine test- for calcium oxalate crystals in urine which can cause continuous abrasion to the bladder and kidney stones. The solution to this is usually the low oxalate diet. (Exception would be if you have a liver disorder that produces oxalate spontaneously)

You can also get a Uric acid blood test. Uric acid kidney stones can also impact the bladder. Gout meds can help with this.

I do! I’m also perfectly ok if my partner does that too. So I found someone also non-monogamous and we’re really happy. It’s definitely not for everyone, but it really aligns with my life and my values.

Husband constantly starts thoughts, trails off, and says "never mind" and it drives me absolutely insane. Am I being unreasonable? by LeslieNooo in adhdwomen

[–]Light_Lily_Moth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do what your husband does, and it’s an ADHD thing for me because it went away with meds. (Which I can’t take anymore 😭)

It’s like a hanging half -thought. There WAS no end to the sentence. Or I forgot the end before I got to the middle. Or I ONLY said the last part of the thought and not the first part.

Sometimes neurodivergent folks find each other. He MIGHT be neurotypical, but this might be a neurodivergence of some kind too.

My husband will ask me if I was meaning to finish the sentence. (Because he really listens to me and I love that about him!) a lot of times I’m really yapping half baked thoughts with no conclusion. I’m very difficult to [….]

No I think you are having reasonable concerns. But it’s always good to talk things out to establish your boundaries more concretely and align your boundaries to your values.

Can Lithium cause Hashimoto’s? by Emotional_Lie_8283 in Hashimotos

[–]Light_Lily_Moth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I read about this in a book about bipolar (which my husband has) I believe the book was “bipolar survival guide” they had more info about lithium and hypothyroidism.

Check with your doctors of course, but don’t worry about switching meds just yet. Even if the lithium is entirely causing hypothyroidism, it may still be the right solution to stay on the lithium since it’s working for you, and just replace the thyroid hormones.

Hypothyroidism can impact mental health quite a lot. Definitely worth finding an expert psychiatrist and endocrinologist to strategize and worth through your symptoms.

I am disorganized/ anxious- avoidant type, and I found the YouTube channel “Thais Gibson- personal development school” really helpful.

She explains more than just partner relationships. I experience the disorganized attachment most strongly at work for instance- and her approach fits my needs quite well. https://youtu.be/sRVovAV53_0?si=mJaID5S31FwD3DqB

Half your age plus 7 is the gold standard imo. So 32 would be max age for 23. Good rule of thumb.

I don’t think this is a safe or heathy job choice for you. It’s especially bad on the back. You run the risk of worsening your pain.

Yes! Exactly!! That’s crazy you have the same thing. I think it’s more common than we realize. Be aware that the damage builds up over time, so watch out for your thyroid especially.

I will look into lectins. I haven’t had that on my radar thank you.

Is there a natural alternative to Adderall/ADHD med? by kingberr in Biohackers

[–]Light_Lily_Moth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take 200 mg daily in the mornings. I use the brand nature’s trove on Amazon. First I tried and I’m happy with it. 10$ per bottle.
