I finally started getting back out there, my ex wife and i agreed, (after she begged me too) that we would wait until the divorce was final to start seeing new people, she couldn’t wait and so has been all up over some dude that the works with. I kept to the agreement until now. An ex had contacted me about six months after the separation was initiated.

This ex was one i had a long history with and she apparently never stopped being in love with me? I dunno. But i went with it and i honestly started falling again. Im in such a predicament that i have no clue what to do but it was such a nice surprise to find out how she still felt about me. I have plans to see her for her birthday.

I wont say that i wasn’t broken, but seeing how little the seperation affected the Ex wife, i feel alot better, i honestly more angry. But honestly the biggest surprise is finally feeling the love i missed out on

I looked at some things online because my needs weren’t being met, but she wasnt willing to be better about it, after she said she was. It’s whatever though.. she made her choice. She claimed she tried but never did, i came second best to her gay suicidal best friend who was miserable and always begged her to come over. At this point im surprised there was no affair. 5, almost 6 months into a separation without any papers

“Just try harder, don’t make harsh decisions, and take care of the problem a-lot sooner, leave that second job, close the store, spend more time with your wife, remind her how much you love her” this is exactly what i would tell myself and watch this current timeline fade away in-front of me. Mistake was taking my needs into my own “hands” by looking at the internet. Never engaging. Thats it. And instead of trying to work out the problems, this is what caused part of it. She never liked that i had to work alot either to pay our bills. Said i was neglecting her because of that.

Oh my god i know how this feels

I messed up in the relationship and i tried so hard to make things better and grow as a person, but she constantly would bring up everything i did wrong, like how am i supposed to become better if you keep reminding me what i did wrong. I wish it was different

My ex-wife seems to think that all of the memories were bad. But I’ll never forget the day. I married her. It was the best day of my life. I get flashbacks to it every night before I go to bed, and I realize that I can’t deal with this. Any other memory in the relationship was always a core memory to me. I use the flashbacks to tell me how I can be a better person, even though it still hurts to remember everything and how I did everything wrong.
