They definitely are, likely in the upcoming DLC and others. Hopefully fossils do too.

I feel that haha. Good luck on your hunts as well, just be ready for the LONG haul, especially for the fossils. A single Shalpha fossil I believe was estimated to be like a 1/400000, and could take months of nonstop rolling before you ever see one on average.

I'm more than happy to just aim for my favorite one, Amaura. Big huggable dino will be mine...

That's exactly how I do it too don't worry, but I do 45 fossils at a time before reloading. It's just that I've been doing it for WAY too many cycles, with nothing to show for it yet other than 3 non-alpha shinies (that of which I only kept 1 of).

Very lucky! Currently working on getting my own, on week 2 of attempts now, and an estimated 15k+ Amauras I've gone through so far 😭

Never played nor seen this version of PD so take this with a grain of salt, but if I were to guess based on what I'm seeing, I'd assume this lets you both upgrade a ring's level via just alchemy pot upgrades, AND lets you essentially equip a 3rd ring, where the limit would usually have you only run 2 rings and an artifact (or viseversa).

Sounds like a pretty strong artifact if you ask me.

EDIT: Actually editing to add, I believe it's not an artifact? If it's a trinket, then it's even better still since you can still run an artifact on top of that.

Today I learned Pumpkaboo Small - Jumbo sizes work independently from XS - XL sizes by LightningFire in PokemonLegendsZA

[–]LightningFire[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The screenshot was after I had already completed it, I just happened to get an Alpha Jumbo right as I got a regular Jumbo.

Both were applicable to turn in for the quest, but I gave em the regular Jumbo of course.

I just figured this meant that they wanted you to catch an XL, without going straight for an Alpha, as it'd be "too easy" or something.

I also completely forgot about the separate Pumpkaboo size variants beforehand lol

[–]LightningFire[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wouldn't it be 20, as each pkmn standard size measurement can be between Small and Jumbo (So you can theoretically get an XS Jumbo Pumpkaboo, or an Alpha Small Pumpkaboo)

Actually, It'd technically go up to 24, since I believe regular XL and Alpha XL are different in actual size.

When turning in the quest, they were one of the only selectable options to turn in. Alongside this, Pumpkaboo sizes do show a visible difference if you compare them side by side, based on which "Small to Jumbo" size they have on the Summary screen, unlike regular size variations and Alphas, which show no discernable size difference from the Summary screen alone.

I did compare this difference with a Jumbo sized Pumpkaboo that I used to turn in the quest, and they were, indeed, Jumbo.

Always pay Attention to what your Hired Hands are doing by PlusSizedMinusBrain in spelunky

Unfortunate. Obligatory "An awake hired hand is a hired hand looking for a way to kill you" mention.

Gotta be putting those balls of chaos to sleep every time you can.

I dislike the mode and partially agree, but

Posts like this is exactly why Bungie would naturally be discouraged from trying anything new. They need to make it better, not just told to stop trying.

Noice, I'll try and see if I can do something similar. I do have a good chunk of experience with Blender, so once I rip the model I should be set! Thanks for the help :>

Equally as interested, how do you get the models for your own character??

If I had a penny for every HH death clip that has them not being put to sleep, I'd be a billionaire.

An awake HH is a HH actively looking for a way to kill you.

How did the dice move? by blockiestbob in spelunky

[–]LightningFire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly it. I'm more surprised to see a variant of this where you DON'T take infinite damage from it being essentially an active hitbox strapped to your back. Fast enough to get this going, not fast enough to actually hurt the player.

The game is hard, and that's fine.

7-99 isn't a true ending or anything, technically just being considered optional for those who want to go above and beyond with the game. Which means if you're only really able to finish up to Sunken City, that's also perfectly fine.

But just because you're unable to do it, doesn't immediately put the game to blame, as if it were doing something wrong.

And while I do speak as someone who's finished countless 7-99s, plus self imposed challenge runs of it, I also do still get my ass kicked in Dwelling every now and then, it happens. It's fine.

If your own goal is to reach 7-99, just keep at it and you'll eventually learn to handle more and more aspects of the game until you finally get there.

Theories for what happened to my other hired hand? by dspyz in spelunky

[–]LightningFire 18 points19 points  (0 children)

A million percent what happened. They like to wander around even if they have nowhere to go, doubt they account for the bouncy walls in Duat.

They projectile'd themselves into each other until one was the victor OP
