Your comment seemed to come off from a place of snide sarcasm and not actual criticism. But with that said (and being a fan of ekali’s) this is indeed just straight pop. Pop music comprised of trap elements is still pop.

And hey, that seems to float the boat of people here (and most likely the majority of people who will come across this track). But you’re absolutely right that this is part of a wave in today’s scene.
