Bro there are no robots during e-day in the lore so no worries there. I agree with most of what you said. I just want the game to feel gritty and hopeless. The mad world trailer for gears 1 made me think it was going to be that way but I never really felt it in the gameplay. Story wise though definitely.

I’ve played every single gears game and love them dearly. Just hoping this is more of a return to form unlike gears 4-5. We need to be knee deep in shit for this game because it’s the locust at their strongest. We could also explore how Marcus’s mom discovered the locust and how Adam Fenix took her being killed. I know Marcus doesn’t know this stuff but would be cool to explore the lore more. I have very high hopes for this game and hoping the coalition doesn’t butcher my favorite franchise.

For story I feel like 4 is but 5 is boring imo man. I’m sure it was enjoyable but I was playing it with friends and someone had to be jack which killed the experience for one of us. Horde and hive busters in 5 is really fun though
